"And did you lot see Ilvermorny? Legendary arm she has!" Sia shouted, pointing up her butter beer and clinking it with Jason's. "Legendary I say!"

Ameylia blushed in response.

"And Cho, shooting throw the clouds, fierce like the Eagle I've raised you to be!" Roger slung his arm around Cho's shoulders, hugging her.

"Another round?" Asked Ameylia and everyone agreed. Everyone chanted for more, everyone except Oakly, who didn't attend because 'her parents didn't allow her into Hogsmeade.' Ameylia felt as though she didn't attend for another reason.

"I can't believe we won. I thought we were beat when Oakly was giving out!" Grant sighed, wiping his forehead.

"Just goes to prove that we're a great team." Roger exclaimed. "But..." Sia and Jason groaned.

"There's always a but." Sia shook her head, sipping from her mug.

"I'm just saying, okay. This doesn't mean we can slack off. We still need to beat Slytherin and Gryffindor this season, yes?" Roger asked.

"Yes." Everyone responded in bored voices.

"I wish I came!" Natalie pouted as she walked with Ameylia and Verah to Care for Magical Creatures.

"Yeah, ya really missed out. I don't doubt that it'll be the talk 'til Friday." Verah said, then squealing. "Aka, Christmas break!"

"Speaking of that," Natalie said, holding her books close to her chest. "What are you two doing for it?"

"I'm going to the Burrow since my parents are in America for the holidays." Verah said, "how about you two?"

"Um, I didn't really think about that." Ameylia said, nervously biting her lip. "I haven't contacted my mom...maybe I'll see what Hermiones doing."

"Well, I'm staying here." Natalie replied. "Hiding in my dormitory and eating as much chocolate as I can find."

"Sounds fun." Verah laughed as they left the castle and headed down to where Hagrid was standing with a few other students. "I wish you guys could come with me for Christmas but, it's more of a family thing."

"We understand, Verah." Natalie assured, the three sitting themselves down on a fallen tree. "We understand that some wizards are lucky enough to have perfectly stable families. And some are cursed with foster homes and divorce." She winked and Ameylia rolled her eyes.

"Yeah. Mum's probably busy with Meg anyways. I'll stay here." She turned to see the golden trio walk down to the grounds.

"Sure you shouldn't talk to 'er?" Verah asked.

"I'm sure."

"You haven't even talked to her since you've arrived here, have you?" Natalie scoff-laughed. Ameylia shook her head.

"She went to your match against Hufflepuffs, you know." Verah said, putting her hand on Ameylia's shoulder. "Cmon, Ilvermorny. She's your sister. You can't ignore her forever."

"Step-sister, Ver." Ameylia responded. "And fine. I'll talk to her." Ameylia stood up and walked over to the fluffy haired girl standing beside her ginger and ravenette friends.

"Hermione." She said to get the little girl's attention.

"What?" She turned to see Ameylia. "Oh, hi."

"Um, hi. I was just wondering, what you're doing for Christmas? You know, since your dads with my mo-"

"I'm going home to see my mum." Hermione spoke, continuing walking with the two boys.

"Great." Ameylia mumbled. "And thanks for coming to my game." She walked back to the girls and they patted Ameylias shoulders.

"Like I said. We're the unfortunate few." Natalie shrugged. "Don't worry, Meyls. We'll have tons of fun here. I actually have some prank ideas..."

Ameylia and Natalie exchanged evil grins as Hagrid started the day's lesson.
