Christmas break went by faster than Ameylia could grasp the fact that Hogwarts was 100 times better than Ilvermorny. When there was snow at Ilvermorny, the professors wouldn't even let the students play outside. They just got shut inside and we're forced to do group activities with other years they barely knew.

Ameylia blinked awake, realizing it was the day that everyone was arriving back. She tucked her presents under her bed (a few sweets from the Weasley twins, a handdrawn art piece from Natalie, and a crochet hat from Verah. Oakly sent everyone cards.) and jumped to her feet to see Oakly standing in the doorway. Her ginger hair had grown down past her ears now, and it was pushed back by a redhead band. She was dressed rather classy, and Ameylia assumed it was all Christmas presents.

They waved hellos and Oakly lied all her things down on her bed. The girls sat in silence until Oakly spoke up.

"I'm patiently waiting for Natalie's big prank." She said smugly. Ameylia nodded.

"How was your break?" She asked.

"Fun. I visited my grandparents with my mom. We had Christmas there and then went on a hike in the woods." She said matter-of-fact-ly. "Quite boring here, I assume?"

"I had lots of time to read, that's for sure." Ameylia grinned. "Robyn lended me all the books in the world. You ever read-"

"I'm going off to see if anyone else has arrived." Oakly cut the brunette off and strutted out of the room. After a few minutes a familiar ginger with dark makeup jumped into the door frame.

"Verah!" Shouted Ameylia, springing up from her bed and hugging the girl. She twirled Ameylia around, being stronger and taller is was easy.

"I missed you!" Verah yelled out, taking Ameylia's hands and dancing around with her. They twirled around until falling onto the floor out of laughter.

"Where's Natty?" Verah asked, standing up and pulling Ameylia with her.

"Not sure, wanna go get brunch? I'm starving." Ameylia suggested, grabbing the girls hand and leading her out.

"Yeah sure. Someone's waiting there for you anyway." Verah smirked and changed her mood immediately, rolling her eyes. "Well, two people. But one of them was lots more excited over the other." Ameylia knew the girl was talking about her cousin twins, and hoped the one waiting on her was Fred. The boy had earned more respect and crush points when he gave Ameylia a chocolate frog, chocolate treats were her favorite.

"Ey, Ameylia!" Shouted a boy as the two entered the Great Hall. She spun to see the clan of gingers seated at the Gryffindor table. The girl ran fast to George with arms wide.

"Silver!" Greeted Fred, his hug next. They all caught up with their Christmases as a few ravenclaws came over to greet Ameylia. Cho and Natalie walked over.

"We're all good." Natalie said, side hugging Cho. Ameylia clapped and hugged the two.

"What changed?"

"I told her I was just jealous. You both make friends so fast and yur'e new! I haven't made any other friends besides Sia and some Hufflepuffs that think my names is Chow." She shook her head. "They may just be Irish."

"Scottish and Irish are fairly close aren't they?" Natalie shrugged. "What's us Brits know 'enyways?"

The girls giggled at Natalie's London-Brit impression. They all sat down at the Gryffindor table as a buzz swarmed around Harry.

"Guess they still aren't used to having a celebrity." Cho bit into her eggs.

"Where's my paparazzi, hm?" Asked Natalie, pulling a kid out of the crowd. "Colin, right? Take my photo."

"Natalie P-Potter! Uf curse!" He said with a mysterious accent like he was an American trying to fit in. He snapped a picture of the girl and then blushed. "Y'dont mind getting a photo with 'Arry, do'ya?" Natalie shrugged, face paling after Colin turned to drag her away through the crowd.

"I'm, uh, Neville Longbottom." A boy shoved his hand infront of Colin's way. Natalie shook it cautiously.

"Hi. Natalie." The girl pursed her lips together.

"I know. Yur Harry's sister." Neville said proudly.

"Don't ever refer to me like that again." She said in slow voice, taking her hand away from Colin. "I don't want a photo with that Arse anyways."

"I'm real sorry," Neville said. "I didn't mean to offend ya. I just didn't know ya otherwise?"

"It's fine, Beville."

"Neville."

"Right. Neville." She turned to see him. He grinned at her and she couldn't help but smile back. "Let's restart. I'm Natalie Potter."

"Neville Longbottom." He shook her hand. "Wanto sit with me in a quieter space?"

"I'd love to, Neville."
