Sophie POV:

As I walked to sit in the designated spot in front of the councilors for the meeting, I was overcome by my nervousness. I just sat down and tried to mask my emotion, just like Tam, it seemed even to me that Tam was all I talked about anymore. Tam this. Tam that.

I was the last to sit down. Councilor Tarik started the meeting, "So Sophie I know that you want your lists but there is a problem: We don't know the background genetics of your parents in order to make them." As solution after solution went around MR. Forkle said simply, "Since I know both of the identities' of her parents, I would be willing to make a list that includes anyone she is genetically compatible with, and narrow it down from there with who would compliment her." As everyone else added their input that was the course of action that was decided. I almost skipped out of the building, so filled with hope was I.

Tam POV:

As we all left for the matchmaking office I noticed Biana looked like she wanted to ask a question or maybe it was a smirk. I immediately blushed and asked what she wanted. She just smirked a bit wider. S we all filed into the large office, Biana asked for the lists for herself, her brother, lihn, me, keefe, Dex, and Marella. the clerk said that the first list would be mailed to there residences in a week. Of course Biana corrected her saying," actually could they be sent to Haven Field?" The clerk nodded yes.

Soon we all went back to see Sophie waiting for us. I felt my heart flutter slightly, and silently berated myself, I just smiled like nothing had happened though it looked like she wanted to say something to me, I just started taking to lihn trying to appear as unbothered as possible, as Sophie filled the rest of us in on her adventure for the day.

We played another round of truth or dare, then Sophie said, "What is we played base quest here, I mean there would be rules like no going inside of any animal enclosures and stuff like that..." I noticed everyone got a competitive gleam in their eyes and knew no matter what I voted we would end up playing. So as we split into teams, Sophie, Dex, Biana, and Keefe on one team, along  with me, Fitz, Marella, and Lihn on the other. we all voted it was the other teams time to quest first. As my team decided on our base, which was the gate to an enclosure that looked like a huge dragonfly, the game began.

We all split up we guarding the base and the others trying to find the other teams players, they obviously weren't very successful since about 5 minutes later I saw Sophie's form run straight at our Base. I smiled slightly, she couldn't see me. I hid myself in the shadows and as I ran up to her from the side, she noticed me but but not before I tagged her but she tripped and once again I caught her. My mind going to what Keefe had once said, I softly said, "You don't have to fall for me every time you see me." I now understood why the mop-head hid with jokes, it detensifided the entire situation. Sophie rolled her eyes, and was about to say something, But then out of nowhere I saw the idiot run right up to the gates, I wondered why for a second then tagged him, I noticed he went pale and I guess he thought he was touched by a ghost. I popped back in to view with a laugh.

A/n: Sorry for the short chapter, but I am sort of sad right now, I was just rejected slightly and just wish it would get better. Sorry TMI, but now you know.
