Sophie POV:

Today was the first day of school. I still remembered both of my other first days. Though this time was different, this time I had friends, and Tam... everything was going great it had been three days since we had finally decided that we should date.

We all got on the bus together, and as expected everyone stared, and not just because they had never seen any of us before, but because elves were just generally prettier than humans. And it didn't help that most of my friends looked like they were models, even Dex, perhaps the least good-looking in the group was still much prettier than most of the people on the bus.

We were dropped off at the front of the school, and Biana asked a random kid where the office was since for he first day we were to go there, in order to get our schedules. When we got there we all compared them. I shared the most classes with Lihn. And thankfully we all had the same period for lunch. That day we all had some one we were going to follow for the first day just to get our bearings. My shadow's name was Miranda.(A/N-yes this is supposed to be me)

She introduced her self and quickly told me a bit about her self, as she was talking about the sports she did, I noticed she was almost as pretty as Biana. Between her full lips, strawberry-blond hair that was even lighter than Dex's, and grey- ice blue eyes (A/N: weird I know but it is accurate especially with the eyes), if I didn't know any better I would assume she was an elf. She must have noticed me staring, because she laughed, and said, " I get it I'm pretty but you guy's are all like drop-dead gorgeous." We all laughed at her joke before Keefe said, "You sound like me." Of course those of us that knew Keefe just sighed and almost no one laughed. He looked slightly disgruntled.

I noticed how everyone else's shadow sort of spaced themselves away from Miranda. Then the bell rang, and she said that we had to get to class. On our way I asked her why no one really was near her. She sighed, "There were some rumors about my family a couple years ago, and even more about me, people got the idea I could read minds, because I answered teachers questions even before they were asked. There were also some about how I saved someone from falling into a lake, and some said it looked like the water moved the kid near me. And I have a green-thumb, I can make plant's come back from the brink of death, it seems. It's weird."

We went through the rest of our classes without a hitch and no mention of what we had earlier talked about, any questions the teacher asked me or Miranda where always answered correctly, everything went smooth till Gym. As it turned out Tam and Fitz also had this class right now, on both schedules. As the gym teacher instructed us to go outside for some running, I heard a huge crash. Two cars got into an accident. The gym teacher ran back inside and grabbed her phone to call 911, she told us to say out here but away from the crash. I looked at Tam and Fitz and sent them a transmition, "We need to go help. Fitz see if you can move the cars away from each other only slight, Just enough for the hood to not be together and do it so that no one notices. Tam, as Fitz is doing that we need to get the people out of the car." They nodded and me and Tam started to run with a bit of super speed, the farther we got I noticed Miranda was running just behind us, I wondered how until I remembered she was a track star. We set to work getting everyone out of the cars. No one was really moving, but I noticed three people In particular, looked familiar. Suddenly I heard a whisper, "Sophie...?"

A/N: Sorry for the cliff hanger, but once again I have a huge test. Wish me luck. As always grated comments and I'm thinking about doing a one-shot series, if anyone has any idea tell me in the comments. Also I'm not doing anything in this story, but I am okay with writing anything that could be considered Mature. just as an FYI. Sorry for the short chapter,
