The night and its brightest stars

Part 8

A/N: for the purpose of the Story all of the Keepers will be able to fluently speak and write English.

Tam POV:

As Mr. Forkel said this Sophie and I went back into he house, I still couldn't fully believe it, I had kissed Sophie and she had kissed me back for a second time. He quickly explained where we would be staying along with giving us paper about our new identities. We would be living in a place called Sacramento CA. Our first names would stay the same but the last names would change, for me and lihn we went back to Tong rather than Song, and Mophead became a Redek. Sophie's parents died and mine and Linh's parents adopted her, and a similar story happened with Mophead and Marella. If anyone asked our parents knew Fitz's and Biana's through Business and were rarely home. 

We didn't need to pack as anything we needed was already in the safehouses and anyone with a Snuggle buddy already had theirs. So for the third time I left behind my old life. 

When we got there it was explained that the two safe houses would house one "family" each. They were neighboring, and we each given a phone with each others contacts plus a few extra like Mr. Forkle and Sophie's and the Vacker's parents. Before he left, he said ,"I forgot to mention this earlier, Keefe and Fitz will be seniors in school, the rest will be sophomores." We decided to first settle in and figure out everyone's sleeping situation and so the other group went to their house and we went to ours. The house was actually beautiful without being overbearing, it reminded me of lihn with cool blue and gold tones. We each chose our rooms, Mine had a plain Bed with Grey walls and books, I had an obvious choice, Sophie and Linh however fought over one room in particular. It had soft pink walls, with a 4 poster bed and a huge closet. The other had white walls with dark and light blue swirls, with another huge closet and another larger bed. I knew immediately whos room was whos, I said with light laughter, " I say Sophie should get this room and you should get the other, since it looks like rooms were already chosen for us."

Lihn looked at me and smirked," You only say that because the room is across form yours"

I scowled and said, "Actually that hadn't crossed my mind and two, blue swirls...like the water , who could that possibly be for?" I knew Lihn hadn't thought of that as she looked away slightly. Sophie coughed and looked slightly amused at the both of us. "What?" I said in mock anger. Suddenly, Lihn squealed, "I forgot what happened before we left, you two need to talk now." And before I could do anything she ran out of the room and slammed the door. I just sighed, leave it to lihn to leave me in the most awkward situation ever. 

"So I guess having this conversation was decided for us, wasn't it?" Asked Sophie rhetorically, I smiled softly. Sophie softly said, " I do like you it's just weird with the whole both of of liking someone else who ended up with someone else." "Same, "I replied, suddenly I had an idea, "What if just took it for a trial run and try and see how it would work if we did date?" Sophie looked at me and nodded an affirmative. 

As we walked down stairs, everyone was already down in the kitchen, and stared at us expectantly, we smiled looked a each other, which gave everyone the knowledge that we were in fact now together.
