6 days later at foxfire

Sophie POV:

I just wished Biana would stop. All she does is continuously ask if my scroll has showed up. Every time I answered it was the same reply, "Mr. Forkle said it will be at my house after school today". I also remembered suddenly why I was so annoyed, it was because every single time Tam walked in the room I felt my eyes drawn to him. MY mind kept berating my heart, "You like Keefe, not Tam." My heart and eye's never listened.

Finally the bell rand, and we all walked to our lockers got out stuff, changed and went to Havenfield, for our second sleepover. Of course Biana wanted to get into reading our scrolls right then, as I was correct in that Mr. Forkle was going to dropped the scroll off after school. But Keefe see, or perhaps feel, you never know with him, my fear said we should probably eat and do homework first. So we did just that, then it was time.

Tams POV:

I felt quite a bit of resentment towards Biana at her so happy and eager to open her scroll. I however just wanted to get it done and over with and pretend like it didn't exist. I knew that Biana didn't like me since the whole Dex thing, and there was no way, in the entire lost cities, that Sophie liked me.

As I finished up the homework that actually extremely easy, I was apparently one of the smartest kids in Foxfire, as I scored literally off the charts on my entrance exam some how.

A/N: I actually didn't make this up, If you look through the books I want to say Lodestar. It actually mentions how high both Tam and his Sister scored. Also forgot to mention after the whole Neverseen are Gone thing the ban on Pyrokinetics was lifted.

A couple seconds later, Biana yelled, "Get your lists, Soph is finally done." I heard Sophie mutter a few things under her breath, but didn't listen to much as I was file with so much nervousness. Who would be number one? Would any of my friends even be in my list at all? What would I do if Biana or Sophie is in the top five? As we all opened our lists, I saw Sophie suddenly look around with wide eyes. I felt my own eyes widen as I looked at my top 10.

Keefe suddenly yelled, "I'll go first! #38-Linh, #31-Stina #27-Biana, #3-Marella and #1 Sophie."

Fitz went next, "# 14- Marella, #8-Stina, #3- Sophie, and #2-Linh"

Biana wanted to go next, "#58-Wylie, # 15-Keefe, #3- Tam and #1-Dex"

Dex, spurred on by his name went next, " #72-Stina, # 12-Linh,#9-Marella, #7-Sophie, and #3-Biana."

Then went Marella, "# 43-Wylie, #23-Dex, #12-Fitz, #7-Tam and # 5-Keefe."

Next came lihn, "#40-Keefe, #17- Dex, #8-Wylie, #-3 Fitz

Sophie swallowed and went next," #38-Wylie, #8-Dex, #3-Fitz, #2-Keefe, #1... -Tam.

I sighed and began reading my list, already knowing what lay ahead, "#9-Stina, #7-Marella, and..." As I saw my number one and two I stared, and just stopped, and ran not even realizing till I was already outside that I had dropped my scroll.

KEEFE POV:

The second Tam started to read I felt the tension almost radiating off of Sophie, and as Bangs Boy got higher up on his list, I somehow felt, even Tam grow scared even though his emotion's aren't nearly as strong as Foster's. Weird, I though, I guess Foster found her match, in more ways than one. I felt everything go cold as Bangs Boy stopped and ran out the door dropping his Scroll. I went to go pick it up, I heard Foster say to not read it but I did anyway, and in my shock, I said the words out loud, " Match #2 for Bangs Boy is Biana and 1  is ... Sophie. And I felt the confusion and the anger, and then more confusion. I suddenly realized, also accidentally saying it out loud, "Wait both you and Bang's Boy got each other as your #1's, does that mean what I think it means..." Foster just glared and ran out after Tam.

Sophie POV:

I felt so confused, how could this happen? As I heard Keefe's stupid remark I glared and ran out to go find Tam. I just searched for him using my telepathy and found him over by Calla's Tree. I walked over to him and found him staring out over the ocean. I didn't realize he knew I was there until he softly said, " So I'm guessing Keefe decided to pick up my scroll and read it out loud?" I just nodded, and he looked at me. I felt my heart switch to a fluttering pace, as I stared into the depths of his blue, almost sliver eyes that caught my heart every time I saw them, I just stood there staring looking at his eyes how the seemed to shift at every moment. He looked at me softly, and I felt his hand go to my cheek, it felt like my cheek was on fire where he touched it. I leaned into his hand. Suddenly I felt his lips on mine, and everything was perfect, time seemed to stop. He began to pull back, probably realizing what he was doing, but I just put my hands around his neck, and pulled his closer, kissing him back. I slowly pulled back, I noticed a faint blush on his cheeks, and I was pretty sure my cheeks were nuclear. I didn't care, I just softly set my head on his shoulder, I hadn't realized he had a scent before, it was a mix of dust, peppermint and, something else. Suddenly I heard someone yelling my name, it was Mr. Forkle. "There's been a... development... we have to move you all to the lost cities, now. "

A/N: Sorry for the cliff hanger, actually not really. ;P. Same conditions for comments
