Emma's pov
Happy stopped for Tony's four burgers, by the time we got to where the press conference was being held he ate three. Obadiah was waiting for us. I'm not his biggest fan but Tony trust him and I trust his judgment. "We were gonna meet at the hospital" Obadiah said hugging Tony "no. I'm fine, I got Emma with me" he smiled as I got out of the car "if I knew this was what you would want as soon as you got home I would have dressed better" I told him handing him his last burger "you look fantastic love" he said taking it "look at you two" Obadiah said smiling at us "hello Obadiah how are you?" I asked as Andy, pepper and Justin got out of the car "I'm getting better as we speak" he said giving me a small hug "you had to have a burger, yeah?" He asked Tony "well come on" Tony told him biting in to it, he looked at me and I followed him as he started to walk away "stay next to me please?" He asked me very quietly "of course" I smiled up at him "you get me one of those?" Obadiah asked trying to take the burger "there's only one left. I need it" Tony said and I giggled at them.
Once we go inside Tony threw the burger wrapper away and took my hand, cameras started flashing as we walked in "hey" Obadiah waves at them "he's here" he said. Tony pulled me up front with him as the others stayed in the back "ok let's get started shall we? Umm" Obadiah said looking for Tony and i, but Tony had sat on the floor and pulled me into his lap. "hey would it be all right of everyone sat down?" Tony asked "why don't you just sit dow ? That way you can see me and I... a little less formal and..." everyone say down and got quiet. Tony looked at Obadiah "good to see you" he said then looked at me "words can't describe how great it is to see you and your beautiful smile again" he said I blushed as Obadiah smiled "good to see you."
Tony got quiet for a moment then looked at me "I never got to say goodbye to dad. I never got to say good bye to my father" he told me then everyone, "there's questions that I would have asked him. I would have asked him how he felt about what his company did. if he was confident, or ever had doubts or maybe he was every inch the man we all remember from the newsreels" Tony said taking a breath and rested his head in my shoulder, picking it back up after a second "I saw young Americans killed by the very weapons I created to defend them and protect them" he said and squeeze me tightly, I looked over at Obadiah to see a look of unhappiness and I wasn't sure if it was for the same reason Tony was. "and I saw... that's I had became part of a system that is comfortable with zero accountability" he said with a slight stone face. "Mr. Stark!" several reporters said "hey, Ben" Tony said quietly I smiled and nodded at him "what happened over there?" He asked Tony hold out his recorder. Tony stood up taking me with him "oh ok" I said as he took my hand pulling. Me with him behind the podium "I had my eyes opened. I came to realize that I have more to offer this world than just making things that blow up" he said squeeze my and and gave me a small wink, making me blush. his next comment blew my mind "and that is why effective immediately I am shutdown the weapons manufacturing division of Stark industry international, until such a time as I can decide what the future of the company will be" he said seriously, Obadiah pushed him away from the microphone "I think we're gonna be selling a lot of newspapers" he said but Tony kept talking " what direction it should take, one that I'm comfortable with and is consistent with the highest good for the is country as well" Tony said pulling me away everything and avoid our friends a long the way as well but I knew what most of them would say to Tony and I wouldn't stand for it.
