Three days before the 53th expedition came, Hange had told Erwin that Shadis wanted to meet her. Hange promised Erwin that she will come back before their meeting. Erwin sighs as he lets her go meet Shadis make Hange thanks him before leaving his office to give Erwin a deadpanned at her action. It makes Erwin wonder why Hange seems to behave like that. Hange seems happy for something. In truth, Hange had found something interesting in military training as she meet Shadis before when she was going to send something to Shadis. She had accidentally watched the cadets training for the graduation. One person had caught her attention. She seemed stunning looking at the person. She had asked Shadis about that person and it appeared that Hange is interesting of you. Hange had looking at your record and it amazes her. Hange had decided to borrow you and take you on the expedition in three days.
Shadis had approved her request to borrow you for the expedition in three days. Shadis was the one interest of your skill as you write which regiment that you want to join. Not only that, Shadis wants to surprise Erwin about you. He was sure that Erwin will feel amazed by your skill. Hange had come to the military training as she saw you stand next to Shadis. My favorite cadet, Lucy Fullbuster! It's nice to see you. I'm Hange Zoe, Section Commander of Survey corps. Do you know why you are here, Cadet Fullbuster? Oh, can I call you Lucy instead of Cadet Fullbuster?" Said Hange in hyper tone as she let you go from her embrace.
You just sigh as you find it hard to answer her but still answer her with a bored face. "Yeah, nice to see you, Hange-san. Sure, you can call me Lucy if you want but no nickname for me. To answer your other question, Sir Shadis tells me that you want to take me on the expedition in three days. He said that you want to see my skill killing titans. I have no choice but to accept your request, Hange-san. I had to stay in the headquarters until the 53th expedition ended. Whether I live or die, Shadis will know of my first expedition. And I will take the risk in this expedition that you want me to join, Hange-san. I know that you caught titan for experiment and want my help too. Am I right, Hange-san?" You said calmly even if you still get bored in your face. Hange was amazed of your intelligence makes her grope you into her embrace and make you scowl again as you can't escape from her.
Shadis seemed to control himself from laughing as he saw your expression. Hange can't stop feeling happy when she hugs you before letting you go again. "You're smart, Lucy! Very smart! Well, yeah. That's right. I want to take you on an expedition for experiment on titan. But not only that, I want to see your skill. When you are in the headquarters, I want you to show how good you are, Lucy. I believe that you can do it. And I can't wait to see how you train. But it will do after lunch, Lucy. Let's go now. See you later, Shadis." Said Hange as she dragged you away from military training. Shadis just shook his head as he looked at you being dragged by Hange. Shadis had prayed for your safety and hoped you could bring victory to humanity. Shadis believes in you as he sees your skill. He know that you can come back alive without any scar. He had already written what your skill was and already gave it to Hange as she was curious about you. 'Do your best, Cadet Fullbuster. Save humanity and bring a victory for them. Because it will give them hope. I believe in you, Lucy.' Thought Shadis as he came inside of his office.

You had arrived at the Survey corps headquarters with Hange who did not stop talking to you. Even sometimes you do not answer her, Hange doesn't mind talking to you as she never cares about it like she did with Levi. You sigh as you listen to her as you know her very well. Once she talks, she will never stop talking so you just let her do whatever she wants. Hange had dragged you to come inside the headquarters. Hange has a meeting and she wants you to join her. You don't know where Hange is dragging you so you just follow her. When you and Hange arrive at Erwin's office, Hange has let your hand as she is going to open the door. You facepalmed at Hange for not knocking the door. You sigh as you need to stay outside as you can't believe at Hange since she has a meeting with her superiors.
You had heard her loud voice when she opened make you sigh. Hange opened the door fastest as she greeted them with hype face but happier than before making Erwin, Mike, Levi and his squad raise their eyebrows at her. "Good morning, everyone. Sorry for being late. I have a little meeting with Shadis. And I'm sure that Erwin told you, right?" Said Hange in a happy tone. Levi was tched at her as he looked at the paper. "Whatever, four-glasses. Just hurry up and go on with our meeting." Said Levi in a grumpy tone. Hange just laughed at his grumpy face to make Levi scowl at her. "Oh, yeah. Right! But I was not alone. I will come with someone and you will meet her now." Said Hange with a grin on her face. Erwin was facepalmed at her. "A girl? Who is this person you bring, Hange? Don't tell me that you kidnapped someone." Said Erwin in a cool tone. Hange was cringe at him as she sigh before smile again. " No, Erwin. It was hard to explain this to you but let me take her in right now." Said Hange as she quickly get out the room and pull you to come inside the office.
You who seem think of something had snapped out when Hange dragging you inside the office. You seem deadpanned at Hange as you need to recover from that before you sigh in a boredom face. Hange had dragging you to face of your superiors meaning your future superiors. You just let Hange wrapped her arm on your shoulder as you know that you can't push her anyway when she do something like that. They were looking at you with a curious on their face. You just give them a bore face at them as you not interesting with them except Levi. You had looking away from them as you don't like attention. Erwin seem wonder about you that Hange taken you with her. "Okay, I can see her. So, who is she, Hange?" Asked Erwin as he still looking at you. Hange grinning at them as she still hugging your shoulder.
"Well, this is Lucy Fullbuster from 104th cadets. This is a reason why I meet Shadis. Shadis had approved my request to borrow her for the 53th expedition. You guys will surprise to see her skill. I will tell you that she was the strongest soldier that I have never see before, Erwin. Shadis already look at her skill. Well, you just wait for it after lunch. I want to see her skill in training ground. If you want to see her, be my guest." Said Hange in happy tone. You seem more scowler than before. You can't believe that Hange talk about her to them like she not there with her. You doesn't like to get praise just because of her strength. Erwin, Mike and Levi were shock to heard of what Hange told them. They were look at you as they were curious about your skill. You heard a scoff from two person which you glance over the person. It was Petra and Olou. You had wonder what of their problem anyway.
"Oh, really? How strong of her?" Said Olou in mocked tone. You only silent at his mocked tone before you scoff at him. Hange had look at Olou before she huff at him. "Very strong. Much stronger than Levi." Said Hange in confident tone shocking them. It make Erwin more interesting on you. "Oh, really? I guess that I will see her skill. How old are you, Cadet Fullbuster?" Said Erwin in friendly tone. You had turned your face at Erwin. "I'm 20 years old, Sir Erwin." You said calmly. Erwin was surprised as he thought that your age 15 years old. He had wonder why you join late military training. "I see. Is there any reason for why you join military training late, Cadet Fullbuster?" Asked Erwin in curious tone. You can see his curious face make you sigh. You know that he want to find people that can save humanity just like he take Levi. You can't blame Erwin as you know that Erwin care about humanity. And you have a reason why you join late military training. But you can't tell him of your reason. Because it was for their safety.
