{Happy Birthday, Kaede!: Ito Uchuujin's POV}

It was finally the weekend and fall break had already started. Today is Oct 26th, 20XX. Kaede was at my house today because I invited him for a sleepover. I have to get the twins ready but they-

"Papa! Papa!" says the twins.

"Hey! Don't wake up father!" said Uchuujin.

"But I want Papa to hug me," says twin 1.

Twin 2 nodded.

"Let father rest for a bit and c'mon I have to get you both dressed up." says Uchuujin.

Uchuujin turns on the sink water.

"Hoshi?" said Uchuujin.

"Hoshi, wake up father!" said twin 2.

Uchuujin got angry and grabbed Hoshi and tossed her on the bed. Uchuujin forgot that Kaede was sleeping on the bed. Hoshi laughed. Kaede woke up. Uchuujin got scared.

"Ow!"

Uchuujin becomes a broken stone.

"Hoshi, apologize right now! You stubborn kid!" said Uchuujin.

"I wasn't the one that woke Kaede up though! You should be the one that has to say sorry to Kaede!" says Hoshi. *sticks her tongue at her big brother.

"Y-you, how dare you!" said Uchuujin.

"Tickle attack!" yelled Kaede.

"Oh no!" says Hoshi.

Uchuujin laughed.

After getting ready

"I will be the one cooking today," said Kaede.

"No, you'll sit down at the table and I will cook!" said Uchuujin.

Kaede was chosen as a cooker instead of Uchuujin because his siblings called him out for being the least skilled cook.

"I want udon!" says Hoshi.

"Suisei, what do you want to eat?" said Kaede.

"Fried chicken!" said Suisei.

"Okay!" said Kaede.

"Uchuujin? What about you?" said Kaede.

"We will eat later because I had a place to show you," says Uchuujin.

"Alright then," said Kaede.

After cooking and eating

"The babysitter is here so behaved well, okay girls?" says Uchuujin.

"Don't worry we will behave just fine," said the twins.

"I and Kaede will be heading out, father," said Uchuujin.

"Call me if anything happens," says Uchuujin.

"Be safe and come back home right away, Uchuujin." says Uchuujin's father.

"I will! don't worry!" said Uchuujin.

"Mister, I promised to take care of Uchuujin so he wouldn't cause any trouble," said Kaede.

"Thanks, Kaede for the meal and for watching over my son's actions," said Uchuujin's father.

"Anytime, mister," said Kaede.

"I heard that there was a restaurant called "Bubble Trouble", should we go there?"

"Sure, let's go there."

After hearing about the restaurant called "Bubble Trouble", Kaede flinched and turned to Uchuujin.

"But it's so expensive!"

"Kaede, I will be fine with the payment. Plus, today is your birthday and it's my treat."

"Alright then, Uchuujin."

At the restaurant

"Woah the restaurant is so big and fancy."

"Sure, it's fancy."

"We can wear any clothes to this type of restaurant, right?"

"I think so? I'm not sure.'

Sitting at their place

"Here is the menu sir."

Uchuujin was looking at the price of the food and seemed to be comfortable with it. But I know that he is hiding his real facial expressions because I can see how many zeros there were.

Uchuujin's image cracked

After Ordering

"I love eating shrimp tempura. It's so tasty."

"Kaede, eat as much as you like because I will be the one paying for all of this."

After eating and paying the bills for the meals

"Thanks, Uchuujin."

"This is what friends do so don't worry!"

"I'll treat you when it's your birthday."

"You don't have to, really!"

After walking around other stores and restaurants

"Remember our favorite band called "Souls"?"

"I love their songs, they're so catchy!"

"Yeah... Well, I bought 2 V.I.P. tickets."

Kaede was shocked and looked at Uchuujin with serious eyes.

"You did what?!"

"I bought tickets for your birthday."

As Uchuujin took out the tickets, he laughed and said, "Surprise.".

"Let's go to the concert!"

At the concert

{Uchuujin POV}

There were a lot of cheers. I could feel the cold air circling around me. I smiled at Kaede as I sang happy birthday to him. I wish my best friend a happy birthday.

I and Kaede were sitting in the V.I.P. front row and when the bandmates of "Soul" came out on the stage, my eyes sparkled as I and Kaede cheered. It sounded so catchy, and I guess it was their most recent song. I believe it was called "Where are you?".

We saw the band leader, Suzuki Shido. His smile shined as brightly as that of the other band members.

I saw Kaede's eyes shine as he stared at Suzuki Shido.

He must have really liked the band leader.

End of the concert

"That was so fun!"

"It sure was."

"I need to use the bathroom so I will be right back."

"Okay."
