{Shido's POV:}

Currently, it's awkward and I grabbed his hand without realizing it. I have to do something that makes Kaede feel comfortable.

{Shido's thoughts}:

I am so sorry for my mother and father. I have not been a responsible son. I was thinking about why the heck did I take this man in when suddenly something hit the back of my mind.

My bodyguard sent me a web page of someone recording the man who carried me to a pharmacy. Oh my gosh, they even covered his face.

I even made a scene of dragging him into this limbo and now the whole world knows. I am an idiot for doing such stupid things.

After getting to Kaede's grandma's restaurant

"Kaede! Welcome!"

"Grandma!"

"So, this is your grandson?"

"Yes, he is. Look at him. He's my handsome grandson."

Around the restaurant, people stared at Kaede in awe.

Suddenly the doors opened and Shido appeared. Everyone was looking at the man in a hoodie and a mask.

Kaede was looking at Shido while a waiter was carrying food and nearly hit Shido when Kaede pulled him over.

Kaede grabbed Shido's hand when Kaede's grandma noticed that the man with the mask was Shido.

Kaede's grandma pushed Kaede and Shido into a private room where only people with reservations could enter.

No one was in there but it was quiet and I could still hear people talking very loudly outside of the room.

"Grandma?"

"Welcome, welcome!"

Shido took off his mask and his hoodie.

Shido smiles at Kaede's grandma.

"Seems like we have a lot to talk about," said Shido.

"E-eh?"

"Hmm... interesting."

"Grandma, why are you doing this to me?"

"Kaede is okay, it's my first time seeing a famous person eating here."

"Ahem... what would you like to eat?"

"The specials."

"Ah, of course, please wait here. I will be back with the specials."

"G-grandma-"

Shido laughs at Kaede.

Kaede was sitting in a chair and looked miserable.

{Kaede's POV}:

Shido must have had something up his sleeves. I can't believe this is happening right now.

After a while of silence.

"I'm back with the specials!"

"Woah this looks yummy! Thank you so much, ma'am!"

"Eat as much as you can, young man."

"Kaede, how have you been?"

"I've been okay, really."

"I'm sorry I couldn't do anything for you on your birthday since I am so busy."

"It's okay grandma, you don't have to do anything for me because I already have you by my side."

Shido coughed out his food.

"Oh my! Are you okay?"

"It's your birthday today and you didn't even tell me?"

"What the, I have only met you."

Shido quickly wipes his mouth and drinks some water.

Kaede sighs.

"I see, so you have a new friend?"

"I just met him today because there was an accident."

"Hm... about that the accident seems to be a big problem."

"Wait what?!"

"Kaede! What did you do?"

"I swear I didn't do anything, grandma!"

After Shido explains to Kaede's grandma what happened.

"What a troublesome kid."

"At least he saved you and that you are safe so it wouldn't be much of a problem but I hope your family can take care of it."

"I'm sure they will."

"But it wasn't his fault really because I dragged him all the way over here and it seems like people already know what he looks like."

After talking

{Kaede's POV}:

Grandma seems to take an interest in Shido and their conversations seem to be friendly. I have never seen my grandma smile so much.

I'm just glad that she is healthy and can live longer with me and that she seems happier than usual.

"Since you both just met each other by chance, why don't you both start getting to know each other?"

"Grandma!"

Shido laughed.

"I'm sure we can get along well."

{Kaede's POV}:

I can't believe that my idol just said that and how do I explain myself to Uchuujin now? I am doomed.

It seems like he and my grandma have been talking so much that she forgot about her own grandson.

"Well since it's your birthday today I've marked this date on my calendar as a special day."

"What the,"

"Ma'am, do you have anything to say?"

"Mhm, I hope you take proper care of my grandson."

{Kaede's POV – Thoughts}:

Did she just sell me off to Shido? My idol? Grandma! How could you?!

I can't believe this is happening!

{Shido's POV}:

It's so cute when he freaks out. It is such a twist of fate that we got to meet today, on his birthday and his grandma is lovely as well.

{Grandma's POV}:

Sigh... Young kids these days are so funny. I can't believe I met Shido.

I didn't even know that my handsome grandson would find someone like him. I hope they get along well and get married soon.

What am I thinking as I laughed? It must have been fate.
