"You know I hate you, right?"

"Yes."

"You also know that this is your fault, right?"

"Yes, I know."

It's been two hours of tense silence with the occasional hateful words being spewed at each other. Silence filled the elevator once again. The only time anything was being said in the elevator was when the two women trapped inside of it expressed their hatred for each other. Strangely, their insults were very limited; they could only say three words to each other. However, as time went on, they got more irritated, their insults getting more expressive. Honestly, the hatred they had for each other wasn't even real, it was just masking the love they had for each other.

"Ugh, out of all the people I get trapped in an elevator with, it just had to be you. You do know that I hate you, right?" Beyonce asked, glaring at the unbothered girl in the corner.

"You do know that that is the tenth time you've informed me that you hate me," Michelle responded. "It's also the tenth time that I responded with the same answer. Yes, I know that you hate me, but do you know that I don't care?"

"Oh, come on, stop lying. Of course, you care that I don't like you, nobody likes you."

"Ok, if no one likes me then why would I care so much that you don't like me? I don't like you so you're saying that you hate me doesn't have the effect that you think it does."

The elevator got quiet again, the tense atmosphere returning. Michelle sat quietly in the corner of the left side of the elevator while Beyonce sat on the right side. Unlike Michelle, Beyonce wasn't shoving herself into the corner; she wasn't that desperate to get away from the girl. Honestly, Beyonce wanted to be closer to Michelle, something she would never admit out loud. Instead of admitting the truth, she would slowly inch closer to the girl hoping that she wouldn't notice. Even if Michelle did notice her moving closer, Beyonce would just lie and say she was doing it to tick her off.

"You know I can see you moving towards me, right," Michelle said, causing Beyonce to freeze.

Secretly Michelle wanted to be near Beyonce; she just would never admit it because she was sure the girl hated her. Despite knowing that Beyonce hated her, Michelle couldn't help but have feelings for the girl. She hated herself for liking Beyonce; she didn't know how she could have feelings for someone who hated her.

"Ok and are you going to do something about it?" Beyonce challenged.

Michelle rolled her eyes and moved further into the corner, her lack of response filling the elevator with silence once again. This time the silence lasted for a while, the two women being too stubborn to say anything to break the silence. Nearly an hour later the silence was finally broken. Beyonce's stomach started growling, the sound echoing off the right walls of the elevator.

"Shit, I'm hungry and I didn't even eat this morning," Beyonce cried, clutching her stomach.

"Why didn't you eat? You came to class late this morning, couldn't you have stopped to get some food at that time?" Michelle asked, causing Beyonce to glare at her.

"Shut up, you're one to talk about eating. Your skinny ass is skinnier than a damn pole. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if you don't even eat."

"Well, at least we know you eat well, it shows on you," Michelle replied, looking Beyonce up and down. "By the way, I do eat. Unlike you, I don't have to diet every five seconds because I'm worried about how I look. You know it takes a special kind of idiot to hate the way they look when they look as good as you."

Beyonce rolled her eyes and scoffed. "How are you going to insult me and then compliment me? Stop trying to be the nice guy, it's just annoying. Besides, I didn't ask you to flatter me."
