Michelle and Beyonce had been together for a year now and they were the happiest couple ever. Cuddling every night, bathing each other, and kissing were the couple's new normal. There wasn't a day when the couple didn't let their love for each other be known; they made sure to show their love daily and in many different ways.

Another thing that became the couple's new normal was gazing up at the stars every night. Every night the two girls would sneak out and go to the woods behind Beyonce's house. The couple had a special place in the woods where they could lie down and gaze up at the stars, a bare area where the trees weren't blocking the view of the night sky.

They would lay on a blanket, hold each other tight, and gaze up at the stars. Sometimes they would talk and other times they would just sit in silence and gaze up at the stars. Honestly, it didn't matter if they talked or not, they preferred either way.

Tonight, just like any other night Beyonce and Michelle did their nightly routine. The couple waited until their families were fast asleep, grabbed a blanket, and a few snacks, and then snuck out. Once out of the house, Michelle would then sneak to Beyonce's house where she would help the girl climb down from her bedroom window.

With their fingers intertwined with one another, the couple ran freely through the woods while at the same time trying their best to hold onto the snacks and blanket with their free hand. The couple ran and didn't stop until they arrived at their spot where they placed the blanket down, threw down the snacks, and collapsed on the blanket tired from all the running.

Despite the couple breathing heavily, they found just enough air in those lungs to laugh. Nothing was funny; they were just so happy that they had to laugh. Smiling wasn't enough for them; it did no justice to the joy that they were feeling right now; they just had to voice it and laughing was their way to do that.

Eventually, the laughter died down and Michelle snuggled into her lover. Michelle could do nothing but smile as she took in Beyonce's warmth. The girl was like a heating pad; she was always warm. Beyonce smiled down at Michelle, admiring the girl's beauty as she held on to her.

Beyonce, who thought that Michelle wasn't close enough, wrapped her arm around Michelle and pulled her in closer. Yes, Michelle was already close; she just wanted her to be closer. At this point, Michelle was completely squished into Beyonce. However, Michelle didn't mind being squished; she just closed her eyes and peacefully rested on her lover's chest.

While Michelle was resting on her chest, Beyonce stared up at the sky. She had always admired the stars; they were just so beautiful to her. Every time she looked up at the stars she was reminded of Michelle's bright eyes and all the times she had with Michelle.

Beyonce moved a lot; it wasn't until recently that she began to settle down. Thanks to her father's job, she ended up in Chicago where she met Michelle. Surprisingly, she had been living in Chicago for over two years now, which is the longest time she had ever stayed in one place. Unfortunately, Beyonce forgot that she should never get comfortable. Today she received the unfortunate news that she was going to move.

Now when Beyonce is in another city she would look up at the stars and think of Michelle, giving her no choice but to think about how Michelle wasn't there with her. Beyonce told Michelle that she was moving as soon as she got the news. She was surprised when Michelle didn't react; she didn't even seem sad that she was leaving.
