17) World Idol Tournament begins

Melony POV

Today is the day of WIT and I am sooo nervous. Eiji meditation section last night, did help me get enough sleep for today, but it didn't remove all of my anxiety for the competition. STARISH and HEAVENS are currently finding their reserved seats to watch the show, while me, Nagi and uncle Ringo are backstage, getting ready with our costumes. 

''Alright, one more quick rehearsal.'' Says Nagi as we are going over the steps real quick, in our own dressing room. ''And an one and a two and...'' Meanwhile we are doing that, are we uncle Ringo getting everything else ready for us.

''Alright you two. Your clothes are ready, so get dressed.'' Interrupt uncle Ringo and split us apart and walk me to a room divider by the corner, where my dress is hanging. A bright golden yellow dress, with a red belt to it. Nagi's outfit is a red shirt and black pants.

''How long?'' I ask uncle, right as I put on my red shoes. Uncle Ringo come over to me with make-up in hand and start doing his magic.

''15 minutes and the show starts, but you are the last one to perform. I believe you are second last.'' Answer uncle Ringo to us and take his sweet time to do my make-up. The fundation and glitter on my cheeks and golden eye shadow. He then brush my hair and iron it to be straight. He then added a red headband to keep it back.

''But don't you worry, Melony-chan. We are gonna do make an amazing show for the audience.'' Says Nagi in a positive way, which is effecting me.

''Yeah, you are right.'' I agree and take a seat on the couch, while uncle Ringo start Nagi's make-over. I take a deep breath to calm myself down.

3rd POV

''Welcome ladies and gentlemens.'' Greets the host of the show, wearing a full Texas cowboy outfit. The audience is clapping as the show is getting started. ''Tonight we have lots of wonderful idols from around the world, but only one pair will win. On this particular show, will 10 participants go on to the final in Washington DC.''

''That is right.'' Agreed a female announcer to her coworker. ''And our lovable judges are ready to evaluate and pick out those lucky winners. So let's get this tournament started.

(I am gonna skip towards Nagi and Melony's part, but here are some couple dances from their competition.)

The audience are really enjoying the different couple dances, that the idols and their partners are performing. Some where a favorite, others where just fine, but a few weren't that good, but the show keeps going and it is slowly reaching Nagi and Melony's turn. Sadly, is that making Melony nervous again.

''Imagen your happy place.'' Suggest Ringo to calm down his niece. He knows that she is nervous, because she is performing at a even bigger crowd. ''Remember, you are not singing, you are just dancing. A wonderful dance, so take a deep breath and relax.''

''Okay... Okay.'' Mumble Melony and do as told. Ringo even give her a cup of water and some gummies to take her mind away.

''Excuse me, Nagi Mikado and Cutie-Doll, please get ready.'' Call a staff member after knocking on their door. Nagi being a gentlemen, reach his hand out to Melony to ground her and make her stay calm. The three walks out and follow the staff member to the curtains for the stage. The performers on stage just finish their last move, before bowing down to the audience who clapped in respond. The announcers walks out to stage to excuse the dancer to go backstage.

''What are wonderful dance from Norway.'' Says the male announcer.

''We only have two more performance before we find out who the lucky participants are going to Washington.'' Says the female announcer to the crowd and hint the male to introduce the next country.
