'X' is always a question.

"woah" Renjun yawned after a long day.
"So many things happened in previous few day" Ryujin looked at Jeno.
Jeno nodded without answering.
He saw Jaemin sitting at his place. It's been a month after the incident happened. Things were settling down slowly. Jaemin's parents never asked what happened. His mother was worried so she asked it from Mark and he managed to settle down everything.

Jeno stood up and went to Jaemin.
"Hey! What's up"
"Yeah Hi" Jaemin wasn't looking at Jeno.
"Are you ignoring me?" Jeno tried to get the others attention. He followed Jaemin's eyes to make an eye contact.
"What are you doing?" Jaemin stopped.
"Trying to get your attention" Jeno made puppy eyes.
"Don't waste your time. Go home and rest"
"Let's go to the café"
"Now?"
"Yeshhh" Jeno held Jaemin's hand.
"Fine"
"Others will join too!?" Jeno asked but he wasn't sure about the letter's answer.
"Okay"
"For real?"
Jaemin stared at him.
"Ok ok, let's meet at the café" Jeno ran after saying that.
'Why is he acting so cute?' Jaemin wondered.

"Today Jaemin will join us too!" Jeno informed his gang.
"What?"
"Why?"
"Today?"
Those were their answers.
"I want to clear everything between you guys and him. He is such a nice guy. I told you not to judge the book by its cover"
" How can you say those things after he did that to you?" Renjun asked.
"D-did what?" Jeno knew what he meant but he asked anyway.
"You got kidnapped like that because of him. You know that very well"
"Renjun, he didn't do that on purpose. Anyway he is the one who helped me too"
"He is making a scene. I think that was all his plan. You're in his fishnet"
"I- don't think so - " Jeno looked down.
At the same time Jaemin arrived.
He was standing there with Mark.
"M-mark?" DongHyuck scratched his eyes to have a better look.
"Are you guys really a couple? You two are holding your hands, interlocked" DongHyuck asked Mark & Jaemin but he is not happy about that.
"No no don't get the wrong idea. I'm not dating him. But I'm the only one he has right Jaemin? We are best friends" Mark said and looked at Jeno.
He was looking down the whole time without talking.
"Hey Jaemin, you can sit here" Giselle who was sitting next to Jeno called Jaemin and asked to sit between Jeno and her.
After Jaemin sat there Mark took the free spot next to DongHyuck.
"Let's order something" Jeno finally opened up and gave the menu to Jaemin.
He noticed Jaemin was staring at him the whole time.
"Wh-why?" Jeno raised his eyebrows.
Jaemin nodded and point at espresso.
"4 shots"
Others looked at Jaemin like wtf .
"Isn't that bad for your health Jaemin?" Jeno asked awkwardly.
"I don't care"
"It's bad for your these" Jeno touched two places on Jaemin's stomach thinking that's where his kidneys are.
"Pabo! It's not there it's here" Jaemin took Jeno's hands and placed them somewhere back in his body near his waist.
"Umm..." Ryujin broke the awkward silence after that happened.
"So, as you already know, I'm the class vice captain. We ... Actually couldn't have a good conversation before but ... Yeah I think this is the time to clear everything between us"
"Yah, I'm sorry about what I did when you talked to me first, I had something on my mind that time. I'm sorry"
"He haven't attend a school before. That was his first time"
"Is that so? Why didn't you say that in the beginning?" DongHyuck asked.
"I didn't care to tell that at that time"
"How do you know Jeno then?" Renjun was curious.
"I didn't know him. He... Was just a regular student for me. Unless he is the class captain"
"Do you like him?" Renjun asked again.
Jaemin couldn't answer that. He was shocked but didn't show that. He stared at Renjun with his sharp eyes.
"Wow wow wow! Hey stop that okay. That was totally unnecessary. Renjun, don't make him uncomfortable. There's nothing like that going on. He only knew my name cuz I texted him previous night and also the teacher introduced me to him. That's it" Jeno tried to calm Renjun down.
"Then why are you the one who's answering, not him? I asked you a question Jaemin. Are you trying to play with him? Is it funny to know that he likes boys? Is it funny for you to know the reason he ignores other boys?"
"He what-" DongHyuck was confused.
"Renjun, what are you talking about? We didn't even know that. And Jaemin is not a player. Also he is not interested in boys. He had a girlfriend" Mark took Jaemin's side.
JaeMin is frozen. He didn't know how to react or what should he do.
Jeno stood up and left the place. He is not angry but he is embarrassed and he felt that he got exposed in a way he shouldn't.
"Are you drunken Renjun? Why did you say that?" Giselle was angry.
"I thought - he already knew and that's why he is acting more friendly to Jeno"
"You idiot"
"You knew that too?" DongHyuck was confused.
"Well I knew that too Hyuck" Ryujin joined them.
Renjun looked at Jaemin and walked away.
Jaemin is still frozen. Mark got up and sat next to him.
"Hey Jaem, don't worry" Mark was confused and didn't know what to say.
More than everyone, DongHyuck was heartbroken. He is not ashamed because of Jeno. He is upset because he was the only one didn't know about him in his gang.
Jaemin stood up and walked away. Mark followed him.
"It's actually... DongHyuck please listen to us"
He is not even looking at two girls.
"Well, it was the party we had a few months ago. Students weren't allowed to go to the bar. But Jeno had to go there to meet a teacher. All of them were deadly drunken. He managed to find the teacher he wanted to talk but the teacher was a total mess. He dragged Jeno and assaulted him by asking him to drink. You know Mr. Yeon who got expelled after assaulting a student. It was him. He made Jeno drink and Jeno was so helpless. After sometime we saw Jeno in a lobby.
You won't believe what we saw there. We saw Jeno kissing Renjun on the sofa. I was about to scream. Fortunately there was Giselle with me. She held my hand. We were already in the room so we could get out. The most shocking thing was they were naked and biting eachother - "
"Enough" DongHyuck stopped Ryujin.
"They saw us, and we promised not to say anything about what happened the other day, Renjun was disappointed. Jeno did so many things to apologize. He confessed that he is interested in boys but not Renjun. Then Renjun took a promise from Jeno. He said not to have a lover without his permission. That was kinda too much but Jeno didn't want anyone know about this. So he promised." Giselle explained.
"Yeah, today... I guess it was the limit that Renjun could take. He might have thought that Jeno is about to break his promise. He is not okay when Jeno treat other boys well. He is happy how Jeno was not interested in anyone after that. Actually Renjun liked Jeno so much. He didn't show anything until now. Jaemin was treating Jeno too nice, Renjun endured all, but today I guess he really wanted to know the truth" After Ryujin finished talking those three were in their own worlds. They sat there for a while and left the place.

"Jaemin, are you okay?" Mark asked.
"Yes I am. I'm not hurt or anything. I'm just kind of suprised. Everything happened so fast. The thing is they think that I'm in love with Jeno. You know that, I'm not in love with him right? I'm not...! I won't do that. My parents won't let me do that. I'm not that kind of boy. Right?" Jaemin looked at Mark in a helpless way.
He is confused. Mark is sure about that. Mark knows that Jaemin will never know about himself. He never has work according to his needs.
"I know you more than you do Jaem. No matter what happened I will be there with you. That's what I can say for now. I don't care who you are. But I know that they misunderstood you" he tried to calm Jaemin.
"Is it werid to feel him interesting? Am I really something else?"
"No don't think so. It's just you didn't have any friends NaNa, you'll be fine" Mark didn't want his friend to be pressured.
"Yeah. I wanted friends. I didn't know how to make but I tried. When I tried, others think that I'm gay" Jaemin made a confused face.
"Don't think about that. You treated him well. I don't think Jeno had any weird thoughts. It was his friends. They must have something to think like that. Let's go to the park okay?"
"Okay"
Mark was actually happy for both of them. He knew Jaemin treated Jeno very differently. He knew Jaemin had something with Jeno. He also knew Jaemin won't understand himself or realise his own feelings. Even they were friends or more than friends. He was happy about Jaemin. He didn't want those two to drift apart. He liked how Jaemin treated Jeno and how Jeno was with Jaemin. To be honest Mark wished them to be together in a way they like to be. But he can't command them.

"Jeno" Renjun met Jeno at their classroom.
"Aren't you going home? It's so late now"
"You told me that you won't do that" Jeno replied.
"I - I thought you were about to break your promise. You know that I love you. You know that it's hard for me to watch when you're with someone else"
"You didn't trust me"
"That's not what I meant Jeno"
"You know that day... I was drunk. I thought you were someone else. I thought it was my ... "
"Don't say that again Jeno"
"But you broke the promise"
"I - am really sorry about that! Why do you care Jeno... They are nothing to you .... Why do you care about Jaemin. All the time when I'm with you, you talk about him. You spend most of your free time with him. Even coincidentally your with him like fate. How can I- How can I tolerate it?"
"You... Don't want me to be happy?" Jeno was shivering.
"No Jeno that's not true "
"You don't want me to be happy. You're taking revenge"
"Nooo... I want you to be mine, I acted so naturally that others won't suspect me. I acted like I didn't care whenever you talked about Jaemin starting from that 'hot' thing. I even joked you when you were acting like that around Jaemin. Why? Because I wanted you to be happy "
"You're taking me as a joke. You know well that I thought you were the one who I love the most that time. You know I miss him so much. I liked him as my lover, I missed him so much even though he didn't realise my feelings. He just disappeared. I thought it was him when I was drunk"
"Stooppp" Renjun is crying.
"I - I want you to love me... Not that guy who is your first lover or Jaemin who is a stranger"
"Let's not talk about this anymore" Jeno stood up.
"I will make you love me, Jeno" Renjun grabbed Jeno's hand.
They stared at eachother. None of them knew what to do next. They both are guilty.
