You were kept in overnight, just as a precaution. Luckily, Ben was allowed to stay in your room with you both. But, you were now getting ready to go home.

"Seeing you hold our baby girl must be the best sight I have ever seen." You grinned as you looked over to Ben, who was holding Amelia in her carseat, waiting to leave the hospital. He was just in a t-shirt and jeans, with a backpack slung over his shoulder, but you couldn't help notice his muscles popping out his arm as he held her. "Absolute DILF." You laughed.

He raised his eyebrow with a chuckle as he replied, "you're welcome to, anytime you like."

"I actually couldn't think of anything worse right now." You shook your head and laughed again.

"Oh, charming."

"Yeah, you'd say the same if you had given birth less than 24 hours ago."

"True." He let out a laugh once more. "Anyway, ready to take this little one home?" He grinned proudly, as he slightly raised the carseat in his hand, to look down at your sleeping baby girl.

"More than ready." You matched his grin, then walked through the door Ben was holding open for you with his spare hand.

Once you reached the car, you waited outside while Ben strapped Amelia in. "Ah, bloody hell. Why is this always so difficult." Ben muttered under his breath as he struggled to clip it in place.

"Erm, language!" You teased. "I thought you'd have mastered it by now. You've practised about a hundred times. Do you want me to do it?"

"I know, sorry. I need to start watching what I say." Ben let out a breath. "There, all done!" He proudly states as he finishes fastening the seatbelt. "See, daddy's not a complete moron." He says to Amelia, as he leans down to kiss her forehead.

"Hmm, debatable." You joked as Ben got out the back of the car. "Thanks." He laughed, then placed a quick kiss on your lips. "Ready?" He asks, with excitement written all over his face. He couldn't wait to get home and begin this new chapter of his life.

"I think so." You matched his excitement.

"Nervous?"

"Terrified. You?"

"Fucking terrified." He replied, causing you to both laugh. "But, in the best possible way." He placed a quick kiss on your forehead, then helped you get in the back of the car, and closed the door behind you. Once Ben was in the drivers seat, and all of you were belted up, he turned his body to look back at the both of you. He smiled widely as he took it all in. He couldn't believe this was real, he finally had everything he had ever wanted. "Right girls, off we go." He said as he turned back to the steering wheel and started up the car.

"I'm actually scared to drive." He laughed nervously as the car started moving.

"Just go as slow as possible." You replied, as you leaned over and stroked your baby girls tiny little hand. "Well, you can go a little faster than this. I don't think 5 mph is legal."

"I'm up to 10 mph now, I'm not going any faster."

---

"Finally." Ben breathed out, as he parked the car and pulled the handbrake on. Although it was a short journey, it was by far the most nerve wracking drive he has ever had to make. Once he helped you out of the car, he walked round to the other side and reached in to unclip Amelia's carseat. You were in too much pain to lift the carseat yourself. "Welcome home, baby girl." He whispered, before picking her up and closing the car door behind him.

Once you were inside, Ben placed the carseat down and gently lifted Amelia out of it. As he held her in his arms, he slowly walked round each room on the ground floor, giving her a tour of the house. Even showing her the garden and all the new flowers that were starting to bloom. "Not as beautiful as you though." He repeated after walking past each type, as he told her what they were. Not that she could see anything.
