A deep sea, a raging storm,
Violent winds stirring up high,
The ship rocking and rolling in the breakers' roar,
Fear grips me like a vice never before.
The screams of my comrades splinter the air,
Hopes of rescue getting ever more rare.
As I cling for dear life to the sinking deck,
This voyage has brought me nothing but wreck.
