The tall ship Bounty was mighty and strong,
yet on October 29 it did not take long
to sink off the coast of North Carolina,
sparking a fear no man could outrun.
The waves swirled and twirled the boat so grand,
but the crew knew they couldn't take a stand
against the wrath of nature oh so deep,
and they all went to their watery sleep.
