Luna x reader - helping a human - part 1

..... Somewhere on earth....

The girl with long white hair floats towards the window.

"What's all that noise?" she grumbles, looking out. She looks down at the street, where hundreds of corrupted are now gathering. More and more come out of the old broken stores. Some are intact and can still walk, while others crawl and limp. But all have the same goal. To wipe out or infect all life on earth.

"Be careful sister. Someone must have woken them up." says her companion, Alpha. She stands up and walks over to her sister. A short time later, she points down. In the street, not far from the enraged corrupted, stands a small group.

"I knew it. They're from Babylonia."

" You know them?"

"That's the team Gray Raven. I've been fighting them before. The three of them are Constructs and this is their Commandant. Do you want me to take care of them Luna?"

Luna looks out the window for a moment longer, that she looks over at her sister. "Don't bother sister. Our friends will take care of her. Let's enjoy the show from here."

"There are too many enemies ahead, but we have no choice, there's no way around them." says Lucia, shaking her head in frustration.

"What do we do now Shikkikan?" mumbles Liv.

Your team the Gray Ravens look at you expectantly. You glance at the junctions to your left and right, but both are buried by debris. You know there is no time to turn around and look for another way. On the one hand you are worried, but on the other hand you trust in the abilities of your team. You pull your pistol from your holster.

"We're fighting our way through. Gray Raven, attack!"

At your command, Lucia sprints ahead. The corrupted notice her immediately as she leaves their cover. The robots' red eyes glow ominously in the twilight. Some begin firing at her, while others run at her with swords and claws drawn.

Lucia skillfully dodges the shots and draws her red sword. The corrupted have no chance against her quick attacks. Lee also rushes forward and shoots with his two pistols. Only Liv stays close to you. Since you are the most vulnerable of the team, she usually stays with you and supports you.

There must be hundreds of defeated corruptors in front of you, but for every destroyed robot, two new ones seem to pop up.

"There's just no end to it!" gasps Lucia, her sword glowing and a glance at her vital signs reveals that her frame is on the verge of overheating. The other Gray Ravens don't look any better.

All of you have already taken countless scrapes from the fight. You know you won't be able to keep this up much longer. But you can't retreat, because in the meantime countless enemies are blocking your way back.

"Liv take the commandant to safety. Climb over the debris, maybe, if there are less corrupted people behind you, you can escape." Lucia calls out to you.

"Lucia no, I'm not leaving you here." you reply to her.

"Commander we are constructs, we can make it. If we get hurt we will be repaired. But if something happens to you..." Liv sighs and takes your hand. She gently pulls you over to the piles of debris. " I'm sorry shikkikan but Lucia is right. Let's at least try."

"Good luck and don't worry about us. If necessary we'll just use the recall." adds Lee over the radio.

You nod and climb over the rubble together with Liv. It's not easy, again and again you slip off because the debris breaks away under your feet. You are about to reach the top.
