When you left your home, and Auntie, Kiko followed you, he was your dragon after all. You were glad you'd have someone you know with you. Your sensei was talking with you along the way to his monastery, telling you about his other students and basically specifying what your destiny is.

You knew better though. It was no destiny, it was just bad luck.

The ninja quickly became fond of you, to your utter surprise. They helped you with your training and seem amazed by your awaiting future, even if you were awfully scared and clumsy. It took some time to start calling them friends but you got there eventually.

~Few months later~

You thanked any higher being that might exist no villain showed up for the entirety of your struggle to not trip over your own feet anymore, you still had to work on that.

All your ninja friends knew how to do spinjitzu and that was the thing you struggled with the most. You spend most of your days running the course, hoping to learn that, but as of now, all you got were bruises. You yelp as you were knocked back by the training dummy. Kiko immediately was at your side, checking if you're okay. As you sat on the cold floor massaging your right arm the door opened, showing Wu who quickly furrowed his brows in confusion seeing only one of his students. "(name), where are the others?"

"Uh, I think they're in the gaming room..." You said getting up and dusting yourself off.

"Why are they not helping you?" You could only shrug. Wu sighed and motioned for you to follow him, so you did, Kiko following close behind you.

You walked into the room were your friends voices were coming from, they honestly sounded like they were fighting. Upon sliding the door open you saw all four of them sitting on the floor and playing a video game. Boxes of pizza laying around them as they spend most of their days in this one room, a few slices were even on the floor itself which made you cringe in disgust.

"Fantastic, I'm out of lives!" Jay thrown his hands up, letting go of the controller and making it fly across the room only to hit a wall and land on the floor, as his in-game character died.

"But the lesson lives on, and I am getting the hang of it. Hee-yah!" Zane, who made the blue ninja die by accident, leaned closer to the screen, not noticing how the other teen glared at him.

"Okay... Now!" Cole yelled and the three of the ninja started to attack the boss in the game.

They all watched in anticipation as the bosses health bar was getting lower and lower while pressing buttons on their controllers, Jay could only watch but he was jumping up and down, biting his lip and holding his fingers crossed. Wu sighed rubbing the bridge of his nose before going behind the TV to unplug the cord, thus turning it off. The ninja groaned.

"Aw, man!"

"What? What happened??"

"It took us three hours to get there!"

"Why would you do that? Why!?" The blue ninja screamed, as if he was the one suffering the most from the act, looking at his sensei in betrayal.

"Just because Lord Garmadon escaped through a vortex doesn't mean he won't return one day for the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu!" Two thing you learned while living with the ninja were, 1) the person you were destined to defeat was Wu's older brother and that the ninja fought him already (this only made you question yourself even more, if they could defeat him why do you have to fight him!?) and 2) the four of them had Golden Weapons, which apparently Garmadon wanted to steal. Why? That, you don't know.
