"They got the first Fangblade, but there are three more, and we just need one to stop Pythor. They have a map, and we don't, so the question remains: how are we gonna find them first?" You shocked everyone as you walked into the bridge and got straight to the point without even saying 'hi'.

"(name)...?" Jay looked at you with worry.

"What?"

Kai walked up to you and put a hand on your shoulder, mirroring his friend's expression. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, why?" You knew exactly what he was talking about, and you were everything but fine, but ultimately decided to ignore it.

The room felt silent, doubt was evident on everyone's faces. Well, maybe not Cole's as he seem deep in thoughts. His eyes suddenly widen in realization, "I got it!"

"Uh, got what?" Kai raised a brow.

"I figured where I recognize the Fangblade from. I have a picture of it!" He exclaimed before sprinting out of the room. It didn't take long for him to return with an album in hand, quickly flipping the pages. "Here it is!" He showed you a picture of a trophy made with the Fangblade. "Back where I grew up, there's this pretty big competition where every year the winner gets the Blade Cup. My dad won it multiple times"

"You never told us your dad was an accomplished athlete. What sport?" Zane tilted his head, just like Kiko always seem to do.

Cole looked taken aback by that innocent question, he shifted in his spot. "Oh, h-he's a, uh... a blacksmith..." He whispered the last part.

"Nothing wrong with that. My father was a blacksmith too" Kai said before looking rather confused, "But I've never heard of a competition..."

"That's because he's not a blacksmith blacksmith. He's a..." The black ninja swallowed looking to the side, then he sighed and showed you another photo. This time it showed four men in suits. "Royal Blacksmith"

"That's your dad?" As soon as Jay said that you glared at him and he chuckled nervously.

"But how did the Fangblade become a trophy?" Kai wondered aloud, being honestly confused by that fact.

"Well, supposedly, the Blade Cup was made by this guys who collected priceless artifacts. His name was something like, uh, Dutch... no, Clutch. Clutch Powers! Anyway, it gets passed on to each year's winner"

"Who has it now?" You asked.

"I don't know. I haven't talked to my father in years!"

Your eyes widen. "Why?" At this point you could be called a 'professional parent collector' as you seem to get along with every parent on the planet. Though you felt like there would be at least one exception to that...

"He thinks I'm in Ninjago City training at the Marty Oppenheimer School of Preforming Arts" The teen cringed. "He wanted me to follow in his footsteps. But I felt like it wasn't for me so, well, I... I ran away. When he sees I can't dance, he'll know I've been lying in all the letters I've been sending him!"

Zane put a hand on his shoulder. "He doesn't know you're a ninja?"

Cole shook his head pushing his hand away, "What? You gonna crack some joke that my old man wears a tutu?"

"No, (name) would kill us" Kai laughed a little. "But if we're going to have any chance at getting that Fangblade before they do, we better get our own act in tune"
