The four ninja were helping to rebuild the city, well, three of them were. Mystake's words stuck with Kai and caused him to try and channel his inner powers. To no effect. The teen grunted, "Aargh! Ugh, this is frustrating. Our weapons are gone and most of our elemental powers are gone. I mean, we can still do spinjitzu, but..." He tried yet again. Still nothing. "I just feel so, I don't know, limited. And thanks to the Devourer, our tank's out of commission, our Dragon's hurt, and now the Bounty is destroyed, we don't even have a place to sleep!"

"No one ever said being a hero is easy" Zane put a hand on his shoulder. "Though our good deeds may never make us rich, they make us rich in other ways"

"Yeah, well, I don't feel rich"

"I, for one, enjoy pitching in" Jay chimed in as he walked past the two of them. "I've always wanted to feel part of the community. Uh, speaking of which, anyone seen (name)? Or Nya? They said they were gonna help"

"And we did!" Just as the teen mentioned your names you arrived on a motorcycle, Nya was driving while you were holding onto her waist so you wouldn't fell off and die and Wu were sitting in a small cart attached to the it. Kiko zoomed after you with Lloyd on his back. You know, this seem kind of unfair, it was your dragon and yet you couldn't fly like the boy did. Well at least the child had fun. "I may have found us a place to live" You informed them while letting go of the girl and getting off the motorcycle.

"Really!?" Jay quickly jumped up to you. "But there's a waiting list a mile long to live in Ninjago City. How did you do that?"

"Well..."

~A few hours earlier~

While your girlfriend was trying to find some kind of transport, per Wu's request, you were thinking of a possible shelter. Now that the Bounty was destroyed you were homeless and there's no way you'd allow your children to sleep under a bridge.

Your thinking was stopped when you saw a teen with long brown hair talking to Lloyd and Kiko. You furrowed your brows and walked up to them. "Kiko!" You exclaimed as the dragonling jumped at the tall teen causing him to laugh.

"It's no biggie. Hey, you're one of the ninja!"

You looked to the side. "Uh— Sure... am..."

"Helping clean up the city?"

"Yeah..."

"Well, have this" Before you could comprehend what was going on he handed you a pamphlet. He waved with a kind smile and started to walk away. You looked at the pamphlet seeing it was a rent advertisement.

~Now back to the present~

"How did he know?" Jay asked the same question you thought of when that happened. Luckily you had the answer.

"Lloyd told him"

The boys looked at the child with a raised brow. "What? It felt like the right thing to do!" He crossed his arms looking at Kiko for support, which the dragonling immediately gave him in a form of approving nod. "See?"
