"Sensei, uh, there's something we wanna talk about with you" Kai started as soon as you got back home, the man hummed encouraging the teen to continue. "Did you knew Lloyd has elemental powers?" The red ninja crossed his arms.

Wu looked a little surprised, his eyes averted towards the small boy in your arms who desperately tried hiding from the whole world. "I had my suspicions, yes. But that was all, just suspicions"

"Well, now it's real and I'd– WE'd like some explanation"

"Explanation?" Wu raised a brow, "It's just as Mystake said, all of you are descendants of elemental masters, Lloyd is no different"

"Yeah, isn't Wu and his bro, like, direct descendants of the guy who literally created Ninjago?" Angelo chimed in, being the only one who wasn't surprised with the little guy having elemental powers. Kai turned to him, still suspicious as ever.

Jay cleared his throat just as the silence started to become awkward. "So... does that mean we have to train him too?"

***

All of you agreed on eventually training the child, it would be good if he could control his powers and not, you know, destroy something on accident like he did the other day, but you couldn't deny there were some... objections considering that idea. As much as the boy's father was a direct descendant to the ultimate sideless good guy, the boy himself was a direct descendants to a guy you were supposed to fight, better, defeat. And his father already offered him to join.

You were actually worried about that...

It was the next day, you took a break to talk with Angelo, who tagged along this time around, while the boys were busy trying to activate/control their powers. "You sure it's a good idea" Cole eyed his friend in blue as he held up a lightbulb.

"Of course! What could possibly go wrong?" The teens looked at each other with concern while Jay took a deep breath and focused on the thing in his hands. Soon enough the lightbulb blinked and after a few more tries it started to glow. "Haha!"

"And I'm always the last..." Kai muttered, crossing his arms.

Lloyd tug on Jay's arm making him look down. "Can I try?" The teens looked at one another before the shortest of them hesitantly handed him the lightbulb, it stopped glowing as soon as it left his hand. Lloyd smiled at him before coping is previous movement.

The lightbulb broke, catching your attention.

Lloyd frowned, "Can I try again?" He looked at the boys with pleading eyes, they looked away awkwardly. Seeing their reluctance, Kiko grabbed another lightbulb out of the box and handed it to him. You watched as he tried and tried again, always ending with the same result – a broken lightbulb, no light, glass on the floor. After all the lightbulbs got broken he crossed his arms and huffed in anger, his supposed brother nuzzled into his side in a comforting manner.

Cole sighed before going to grab a broom and clean this dangerous mess.

"Hey, guys" Nya came in with a letter in her hand, you immediately stood up to give her a welcoming hug. "How's it going?"
