It's been 3 weeks and I've pretty much been doing my best to ignore Seth and any conversation that comes up about Decker at least until I can be normal and forget about that kiss or at least act normal around them I'm shooked out of my thoughts when the door opens and I see Kate
"Hey girl did you pass by for your breakfast pick me up!" I say laughing
"Girl you know I have to stop by my favorite place before going into that job of mine" she says

"I'll talk to him when I'm over the kissing scene that happened at the club my emotions are a-wall and I don't need him thinking I'm pinning over him I just need to be a good friend to him and to do that I need to not think about kissing him or Decker" I say
"Girl he clearly misses you he texts you everyday and all you give is dry responses do you really think that's fair" Kate says
"I've been playing off I'm busy pretty well I doubt he has an idea I'm trying to avoid him because of our kiss" I say

"Oh I did but get over it and talk to him that's what you need!" Kate says and slaps my ass and I walk out and me and Jack step to the side and sit at the table
"Beth are you okay? I feel like there's been an awkward while between us or am I wrong?" Seth says
"Were good Seth I've just been busy not avoiding you at all I promise" I say trying to keep all my emotions together
"Okay well I hope you know you are my best friend and I love your company which is why I am here to ask you something?" Seth says and holds my hands and I feel my goosebumps starting to begin

"I'm having a house warming party and I need you to come I can't have one without my favorite person so please I know your busy but I need you Beth so say yes" Seth says
"I could never say no to you Seth of course I'll be there when is it?" I ask
"Its tomorrow night it'd be great if you come early and help me get ready if you'd like" Seth says
"Sure um can I bring Kate I was supposed to hangout with her" I ask
"Oh yes no problem I'll see you both tomorrow I can't wait my party will be even better I'll see you love" he says and kisses me in the cheek and walks out
"Well that looked very cozy and lovable did y'all kiss and make up yet" Kate says
"No we're just good friends but we have a party tomorrow night at Seth's" I say
"Uh no I don't girl I have a work party tomorrow I can't skip its impossible" Kate says
"Kate there is no way I can go without who will help keep me in line they'll both be there you have to skip I need you" i say
"Girl I can go for a little but I got to go half way and you keep yourself in line or just have naughty fun with them I'd be proud of you either way" Kate says winking
"Kate just go to work before I hit you I'll see you tomorrow I almost don't want to give you these goodies because all you do is annoy me" I say
"Please you love me and know I need these to survive and I'm doing you a favor tomorrow bye bestie" she yells and walks out
Seth POV
I've been getting my house ready all day for tonight and I'm happy times is flying because Beth will be here soon. Someone knocks on the door and I go answer it and see Decker he walks in and gives me a kiss on the lips
"Hey we're you expecting somene else?" Decker asks
"No I'm happy to see you but I also know that Beth will be coming early to help me set up too" I say
"Help... Look around Seth you've done everything down to the little touches" Decker says
"Does it look bad? I'm just excited to see her and hangout she's been really distant lately and so have I so no time" I say looking at him
"No it looks great don't worry she'll love it but you mean since it's been awkward since you kissed her and you don't want to accept you genuinely enjoyed kissing her and you'd do it again or more" Decker says
"No this isn't just for her I want all my friends to enjoy that's the point of a party I need it to look good for everyone. I wish you never saw that kiss it was by mistake our heads turned the wrong way nothing else you always see things that are not there" I say a little annoyed
"Seth it's okay to love two people you don't have to be harsh on yourself I won't be upset I'm the last to judge confusion is normal at all ages it happens and I know you are in love with me!" Decker says
"Yes Decker I love her as my best friend nothing more and who said I was in love with you? Do I care for you and her absolutely but in love with no. Beth is a girl and I'm gay and you aren't capable of a committed relationship" I say while my insides clench

"I honestly don't understand the metaphor you are saying what people Decker?" I ask him but the door bell rings again and I drop the Conversation open the door to reveal Beth and Kate and like always there she is taking my breath away what is going on and I feel Decker whisper in my ear
