Chapter 10: rising tensions

After Jaune showed Jun all around Beacon, all students were suddenly called to enter into the amphitheater for a special announcement from the council, some hoped it was Jaune getting expelled while others thinking as far as his execution

Jun, ignored the whispers and gossips going around Beacon for obvious reasons, she felt sorry that Jaune has to deal with idiots like these

Jaune himself meanwhile ignored everything that the students are saying due to him knowing the outcome and not to mention that Jaune isn't just fighting his urge to punch the other students but he was also fighting for control over his own body against Joraal

While they may be allies, Jaune would stop Joraal from going into a rampage because of hearing all the insults being thrown at him since Jaune thinks it would be a waste of time while Joraal thinks they should know their place

'Jaune I appreciate that you would protect them but maybe even just one black eye?' Joraal pleaded to Jaune

'I told you time and time again Joraal, its not worth it, and if they can't learn that.... then that's their own fault' Jaune replied

As he sat down with Jun next to him he could feel a strong presence of malice coming from behind him, Jaune looked behind and saw Yang stomping her way towards him

"Hey faker! I think you should leave, this is for huntsmen and huntresses only! Not cheaters or fakers!" Yang yelled while Jaune rolled his eyes

Jun however felt irritated as she turned to look at Yang "If I recalled what Ozpin told me about you, I remember you were a criminal too, so perhaps you should leave as well" Jun yelled as she stood up from her seat, Jaune stands up and places a hand on her shoulder telling her to calm down and sit

Yang however was angry that someone is with Jaune's side "Oh so the faker manages to find himself a girlfriend? Heh girl, you just choosed the wrong man, maybe I could help you find a REAL man suited for your style" Yang said with a smile as Jun looked at her with no expression whatsoever

"Okay first of all, I believe that being in a romantic relationship is a waste of time-" hearing this some male students including Jaune felt hurt while a blue haired boy dropped dead "-and second, so not only you're a criminal but a prostitute as well? Tsk, you probably got in here by sucking one of the councilmen's dicks" Jun continued making some students laugh

Joraal on the other hand.... 'Prostitute?'

'Women who provide service in the form of sexual desires for a hefty price' Jaune explained as Joraal came into a conclusion

'So sex slaves with free will AND pay?' Joraal concluded

'I guess?' Jaune replied not wanting to know more of how prostitution works before the brother gods left their world

Yang was fuming from Jun and was ready to attack her as Blake stopped her and dragged Yang back with her teamas Ozpin walks up on stage

"Welcome students, today I have an important announcement" Opzin said as the students tensed up "Yesterday reports of Councilman and Councilwoman Winchesters were reported to be missing after their trip to Vacuo, their bullhead was found crashed near the boarder between Vale and Vacuo, the council has called that ANY huntsmen or huntress willing to help in the search would receive a grant total of Twenty-Five Thousand lien for each member" Hearing this made some of the students drool at the amount while others started thinking of what to do

"You all have until the end of the week to make your decision, the clock is ticking and there will be no second chances if you ever change your mind, have a great *coughs* day everyone" Ozpin said as he walks down the stage and eyed most of the students, especially Ruby who was deep in thought

'Perhaps this should break her view, and show her what drives most huntsmen and huntresses' Ozpin said as he walks out of the amphitheater as did some of the student body

Jaune and Jun weren't interested and immediately left while team RWBY were with team JNPR walking through Beacon's halls and arrived at the cafeteria where they had their conversation

"You heard that Renny!? Twenty-Five Thousand lien! Imagine all the pancake batter we can buy with Fifty Thousand!" Nora said imagining a sea of sloths and pancakes that are being cooked by Ren

Yang had a smile as she looks at Ruby and sees her in deep thought, feeling concered for her sister she decided to talk to her

"Ruby? What's wrong?" Yang questioned making everyone turn their attention to Ruby

Ruby didn't respond for a while, until Jenna butted in "Look Ruby, if it's about what Ozpin said then just ignore it, he's just trying to boost the ego of that disgrace" Jenna said as Pyrrha nods

"That's not what I am thinking about" Ruby replied making everyone silent, Ruby then turns to Blake "Ozpin told us a reason how everyone here and team CRDL, didn't earn a spot here in Beacon through our hard work-" Weiss scoffs at this "-But Blake.... he never mentioned you"

Hearing this made Blake tremble for a bit which didn't go unnoticed "So how did you get in?" Ruby questioned as Weiss rolled her eyes

"Of course she got in cause she worked her way here you dolt" Weiss said with a huff but before Ruby could respond, the television got their attention first, they looked and see the channel is now displaying the Vale News Network work Lisa standing infront of a warehouse surrounded by medical personnel and officers

"This is Lisa Lavender of VNN reporting, tradegy has struck in Vale today as during a dust warehouse raid by the White Fang, officers have killed all the White Fang Members that took part in the raid, while also killing some workers, more specifically faunus workers, the chief denied any racial actions caused and stated that they got caught in the crossfire, while some human workers were killed, most of them survived, we'll have more information of this story tomorrow at 8pm and until then, this is Lisa Lavender of VNN, signing out"

Blake and Ruby would be saddened upon hearing this, Weiss would smile "Hmph, serves those degenerates right, the White Fang should've died along with the other faunus"

"I agree" Both Jenna and Pyrrha would say as they looked at each other while Yang, Nora, and Ren wouldn't know what say about it

Blake however would look at the three of them with a disguised expression on her face "What the hell is your problem Schnee" Blake said angrily

"My problem? Is that I can't stand criminals!" Weiss replied with venom filling her tone

"And you think killing them would be the best choice?" Blake said with a glare at Weiss

"Hmph, please those filthy faunus only know how how to cheat, lie, and steal!" Weiss would say as she crosses her arms

Ruby, Yang, Nora, and Ren immediately back off feeling the tension as Pyrrha and Jenna stood their ground

"Honsetly Blake, what are you even trying to prove? The White Fang are a terrorist organization Blake, and nothing is going to change that after all scum will be scum" Jenna said annoyed

"See this is why the White Fang exists, because of people like you three hating on the faunus for no reason!" Blake said as Pyrrha had enough and slapped Blake making her fall to the ground as her bow flew off

The rest of team RWBY and JNPR were shocked to see Blake's cat ears, there was a moment of silence between all of them as a minute later Blake stood up and ran out of the cafeteria picking up her bow as she ran out leaving her "friends" processing the information on what had just occurred
