Special Chapter 2: dark truths

The Kingdom of Demacia, a place were nobility and courage are adored upon, a kingdom of heroes, but in truth Demacia had it's own fair share of dark secrets

First it was not known to many that Demacia despise mages for their magic, because mages almost destroyed the world, every demacian look down upon mages and see them as a parasite to the world

Second, there were two Darkins that were somewhere in Demacia, being displayed in the house of high nobles, one was a shield, the other was a banner with the Shuriman crest

One day Demacia fell into ruin when one of the Darkin had awaken, her name was Valeeva, she was known as the Darkin Mandate and she ruled demacia with an iron fist

She would conquer the kingdom, as there were many who would follow and worship her and others who oppose and rebelled against her

Many years after Valeeva's awakening the other Darkin awakened and fought Valeeva, their battle would shake the lands of the kingdom bringing it to complete ruin as the land was mold and shifted to an unrecognizable place and the two Darkins would seemingly disappear

Centuries later, people from other lands would uncover the ancient history of Demacia's ruined land and they would find many scriptures, books, banners, plates, cups, floor tiles, and many other relics that survived the battle

All of the items have one thing in common, they all showed the demacians worshiping and admiring Valeeva as a goddess with bright ambitions of forming stronger heroes that will inspire many to look up at her as their savior

Years after the land was uncovered, a new kingdom would be formed from the ruined lands of Demacia with a new name, the Kingdom of Vale, a kingdom named after the Darkin who ruled Demacia as new people of the kingdom believed it was meant to pay respects to the ancient deity

Not many would know of this tale as it was lost to history... though a certain few would...
