Just as I'm about to pass out I hear Sarah scream. " NO" and Then Benny and Ethan Trying to prevent an even bigger disaster.

But that was a little too late.

The tall vampire had already bitten me. What did that mean for me? Was I going to turn? I'm not ready to die!!! My head was spinning with thoughts about what would happen next. My body had already been feeling faint but my mind caved in and I passed out.

Waking up was horrible.  My head was hurting so bad and I was so hungry. I still am hungry but that's not the point. After taking a second to recover from my headache, thoughts of last night washed over me.

Holy Shit.

I shot up immediately grabbing my neck with one hand and my other grasping my phone so I could look at the damage. Nothing. There was literally nothing on my neck, No bite marks or bruising. Maybe last night was a dream? When I try to think harder about it the more my head starts to hurt. I'll try to remember later.

Taking a closer look at my surroundings, finally. I realize that this was NOT my bedroom. I don't even think this was my house. That most likely meant I never even left Jesse's house. Feeling embarrassed, I push myself up from the bed I had found myself on and make my way out of the room. The bedroom was upstairs so I tried to quietly make my way downstairs, which was hard considering I had a killer migraine.

When I got to the final step I heard a voice from the other part of the house downstairs. "Good Morning sleeping beauty!"The voice got closer as I made my way into what I'm guessing was the kitchen. Approaching the doorway, I smelt something so sweet. My stomach was churning in hunger. Making my way through the kitchen I see Jesse and a few of the other Drama students lounging around in the area. Jesse pushes a glass towards me.

"You need to drink this, I bet you're starving.", Jesse smirks after putting emphasis on the word 'starving'. He was right though, My whole body was aching with hunger. Whatever was in the cup in front of me looked so good.

I picked it up and took a little baby sip before chugging the whole thing down. That was the best thing I ever had. I needed more. Jesse seemed amused by my reaction towards the concoction. "I've never seen a fledgling so excited to drink animal blood so fast" He continues, "But, That's all that I will be giving you. You'll have to get your own food from now on.". I give him a questioning look.

"What do you mean get my own blood?" I am slightly concerned.

The guy who bit me last night interrupted, "You need to drink Human blood soon or else you die, Fledgling. ". Well I knew I was bitten but the reality of this whole thing just kinda sunk in. No pun intended.

"I'm Gord by the way, I'm sorry about the whole biting you and turning you into a fledgling thing.", The tall guy who I now know as Gord said. I couldn't forgive him. That completely changes the path my life was going to take. I'm forever a teenager. Like I'm literally going to outlive half the kids in town and my own family. Everything was so overwhelming that I just left.

I could hear the group of vampires shouting behind me, A few words about church and stuff but I wasn't interested. As soon as I walked out the door my whole body felt hot. "FUCK" I screamed out in pain, I was more shocked than hurt though. The sun is my enemy.

Jesse came to the front door smirking. "You might want these," Jesse said, Handing me a pair of black sunglasses and my sweater from last night. I mumble a quick 'Thanks' while rushing to put my newly acquired items.

Running out of the house, This time properly protected I make my way back to my cousins house. On my way back, A familiar scent is brought back to my nose. I immediately feel my stomach churn at the scent and my teeth start to poke my lips. Before I knew it I was on top of this poor person and my teeth were already in their neck.
