~spicy scene, warning before it starts and where it ends~
I woke not feeling Frank's warmth next to me. I shot up in bed only to be relieved that he was standing nearby, rummaging through the wardrobe. I stretched an unbelievably satisfying stretch, letting out a soft yawn. He turned to face me, smiling with an unfamiliar mask in hand.
"I got a plan for us today," he sounded excited.
"What kind of plan..?" I asked still trying to fully wake up.
"You'll see, go ahead and get dressed, we're going out." He slipped the mask on his face but had the mask pushed up enough to leave his mouth visible. I didn't question him further and stood from the bed to begin getting dressed. My clothes had dried overnight leaving a surprisingly small amount of stains. I slipped into them and pulled on my socks before grabbing my shoes to do the same. I grabbed my mask and knife from the nightstand which was becoming routine for me. Frank came and hugged me from behind, a welcomed surprise. I held his arms that were resting on my shoulders and leaned back into him. I loved the feeling of him holding me, it grounded me in a way I couldn't describe and made me feel safe. He held me for longer than I expected, but I understood why. I wanted him to, and he wanted to feel protective. He turned me around to face him before picking me up by my thighs and holding me to his chest. I blushed from the sudden action, lifting my mask to the top of my head.
"I'm going to try something new today, and I have a feeling it could work." He held my whole body with one arm while placing his other hand on the back of my head, pulling me in for a kiss. I kissed him passionately, craving the attention to feel myself again. "Do you feel that?" he said slightly pulling away but keeping our faces close. I felt myself blush harder somewhat confused about what he was talking about. "Keep that feeling," He smiled
"oh- okay-" I managed to slip out while being flustered with emotions. He moved his arm to his starting position under my thighs and proceed to walk out of the room to the outside of the cabin. As he left, he slid my mask down and then his own, walking to the forested area behind the cabin. I had conflicting feelings about this place. I loved it for Frank, and it terrified me for Joey. As long as he was by my side, however, I knew it would be okay. We reached the spot he wanted and gently set me down on my feet.
"Today I want to try something... your power has always been activated in the face of danger but I have an idea." I tilted my head to the side awaiting his explanation. "What if there was another... should I say, intense emotion." He said sounding almost seductive. "Take that feeling you have for me, concentrate it in your mind while using your power." I started to understand where he was coming from. I went to reach for my knife when he pulled out his instead, wrapping my fingers around the grip. "Use that precision I've always seen, try and land it right here." He leveled his finger with my eyesight to imagine a target on the large oak tree. I took a deep breath, holding the knife Frank had always used, feeling his had metaphorically on my own. I wound my arm to the left, holding the knife parallel to my shoulder. Frank sat down on the ground next to me to give me space. I blinked for what felt like forever, but I knew it was a second or less. I saw in my head flashes of Frank and I passionately making love and being romantic. I made my chest feel tight but made the rest of my body relax. My senses heightened hearing everything around me as I had before, even other members of this camp breathing all the way in the cabin. In a flash, I had shot out my knife, straight into the invisible target as intended feeling a sense of gratification. Without a second to think, my body willed his knife back into my palm as I reached out in front of me. He shot up from the ground in excitement, picked me up, and spinning. "God that was hot babe!" I laughed hearing him be so proud of me. I never would have thought this would work, but everything started to make sense. The only emotion I felt stronger than danger, was my love for him. He set me down hugging me and smothering me in his chest.
"Frank I can't breathe," I said jokingly through giggles. He pulled away placing his hands on my shoulders. "Now we're gonna try something a little harder."
