It was finally training day! Kireyi's siblings and her had been allowed to attend a few lessons here and there, but they were finally able to do full-time training with their father. Unlike Tsireya and Kireyi however, Aonung often joined one on one lessons with his father. The older Sullys would join them too, Tuk unfortunately would be joining the younger kids' classes. The two sisters were up the earliest, already begging their father to start; as their brother woke, he glared, whispering to Kireyi, "Already trying to one-up me as a warrior, huh?"
She nudged his shoulder, "If that's what you think, then sure," She smiled, and Tsireya laughed. The trio always were competitive with each other; there was no doubt that they'd all strive to be the best as they trained. The good thing was they were never filled with bitterness towards each other; the three knew they may excel at some things and struggle with others. Kireyi stood up, grabbing her brother some fruit and seeds for breakfast, and her father came back to sit with them.
"What are we learning today father?" Tsireya asked, her voice always drowned itself with a sweet tone.
"You will see, just because you three are my children doesn't mean any special treatment," He raised his eyebrow, teasing the youngest sister.
"Can we start soon?"
"We start in 30 minutes, you all are so eager this morning," He looked at each of his children, and although Kireyi's father tried to hide it, he seemed excited to teach them too.
Kireyi chimed in, "Of course! We've been begging you since.... well, forever!"
"Yeah, exactly," Aonung agreed, he had always wanted to join the real classes and everyone chuckled.
"Still, you three, thirty minutes, maybe in the meantime you can round up the Sullys kids. Take them to the training grounds," He emphasized the last bit, and his children immediately hopped out of their positions; the two girls laughed at their brother as he dropped his fruit, still holding a handful in his arms.
"See you there dad!" Tsireya exclaimed, and the three of them ran out. Kireyi hit my brother's arm as he held the fruit, grabbing one as it dropped.
"You skxawng!" He scolded.
She smiled, biting into the fresh fruit, "Thank you Aon, you are the sweetest," She smiled, and they now approached the Sully's Marui Pod greeting their parents.
"Oel ngati kameie," The trio of Metkayina said in unison; Kireyi's eyes immediately searched the pod, looking for all of them, making eye contact with Neytiri, and she softly smiled.
"Go along you three, learn well," They silently watched as they started to follow. Kireyi noticed as Kiri cut in front of Neteyam to speak to her instead, taking Kireyi's my arm in hers, she began to talk.
"Good morning Kireyi!" She smiled; today, she looked well rested- excited, just like the girls siblings.
"Did you sleep well?" Kireyi asked, leading the way; the group needed to take the Ilu to the training area.
"Yes, I did! Did you?" She questioned, nudging the lighter girl, the two had grown close, and really enjoyed speaking to each other, especially about her mother and nature.
"Me too," Letting go of Kireyi's arm, she realized what they had needed to do; she stepped back to her brother's, allowing the Metkayina to speak, "We'll lead you to the training area! It isn't far from here, but it won't be fun just swimming there."
Aonung hadn't seemed to care about specifics as he had already jumped in calling the Ilu; normally, one of the two would scold him, but they knew he was excited. Everyone was, especially after waiting so long for their father to finally agree. They all proceeded onto the Ilu, "Follow us!" Tsireya stated she quickly checked if everyone was situated before taking off. It didn't take long until the group was there, and they headed to shore.
