Past

He felt a little different today. He doesn't feel like himself at all. He was really distracted, like really, as if everything went into a blur and only focused one thing.
He tried listening to the teachers blabbering, but his glances are destructing him. It felt like hell, how he wished the time would tick faster and asked the ground to swallow him, just to escape this morning hell.
As the bell ring, Shinwon immediately stand up, his table shaken by the sudden movement, and his bag swung on his back as he began walking tremendously.
At the back of the class was the worried Minji. He had never seen Shinwon like this before, as if he ate something bad that made him act like this early in the morning.
It was new for Minji to see this side of him, because he seems angry. He has always been quiet about everything and he never really shared things about himself to her, so she really doesn't know what was going on.

Shinwon was at his sanctuary, sighing as thoughts of the past came in his mind. Those memories, that was full with laughs and tears, that he chose to bury in the ground.
Shinwon don't know what to feel at all, when he look down and read his old poems, staring at a very specific poem that bring back the bitterness of his past.
Is it sadness? Anger? Or maybe both. It was all to much for him that made him snatch the page then crumpled it in his hand, too tightly that showed his veins and anger.
"Are you alright?" A feminine voice suddenly said, and once seeing her a few feet away, his eyes immediately soften.
"Yes." He replied, shortly and carefully, doesn't want to let it out on her.
She walked slowly and sat besides him, keeping a small distance away as she stared at him with worry and confusion.
"But you look... Angry." She pointed out, carefully. "Does this have to do with me?""No," he denied, "Not at all."
"Alright." She nodded when a wave of silence came, "I just wanted it to be clear, so we could fix it as soon as we can." She paused, "Because I consider you as my special friend."
Shinwon sigh, again, then met her doe eyes that was sincere and worried, and he found comfort in them.
"Thank you." He finally said, from the bottom of his heart."Do you wanna stay here?" She said, hoping for answer.
"Are you going somewhere?" He asked back, seeing her shuffle on her seat.
"Mhmm. I have to eat after all..." She said, a little embarrassed as she tucked the strand of her hair behind her ear, to which he found really cute.
"Let's go together."

The two were seated at the center of the cafeteria, with their food tray that was filled with greens and fruits, forgetting for awhile that it's veggies today every Monday.
You can still see the usual Minji, seated but she just couldn't stop turning her head at the direction of the door. And Shinwon stay still, quiet on his seat as he observe her.
