Kelly took me shopping around Monaco this morning. "So now you have slept over it, are you going to hit on Lando again?" "I don't know, maybe a little bit of fun won't hurt anyone." "Maybe you'll remember your last night of fun with him." She starts wheezing of laughter and I push her a little. "Well his shirt lifted a little yesterday and seeing a small part of his abs made me relive a little bit of that night." She raises her eyebrows and smirks at me "So yeah, maybe I will have a little sleepover on Sunday, you never know." "Oh I think you already know." I giggle. "Okay true, but I'm not letting him take me home so easily, he has to work for it, see him sweat a little." "That's my girl." She links into my arm as we proceed to look for a lunch spot.
After lunch we go to the paddock to pick up Max and meet with his mother and sister. We walk in and Kelly makes me laugh "Look like your Sunday sleepover just dropped his jaw on the floor when we walked in." I take a quick glance over. Lando is following me with his eyes. I notice my cheeks turn a little red and look at the ground. We walk past the mediapen and I look over my shoudler at him one more time. I give him a smile and a small wave which he answers with a smile and a wink. We walk to Redbull and I have the feeling I can finally breath again. "Just ask him out." "Absolutely not, he has to work to get me home another time." Victoria steps in "Oh my god, who is trying to win your heart?" I roll my eyes. "Babyboy Lando." Kelly smirks. "Ah have you kept contact with him after Bahrain?" "We're not going to talk about this, the only boy that won my heart is this little nugget." Her baby smiles at me and I take him out of his pram. "So you will break so many hearts when you're older. Just don't break the right one okay?" I whisper to him and kiss his cheek. He starts to squeel and I bury my face on him. God I'm so in love with the little boy.
The next days I join on the track with Kelly. I had some eyecontact with Lando but neither of us took the jump to talk to eachother. It's already race day in the meantime. Kelly and Max already went to the track and I told them I would join later. I arrive a little before the drivers parade. I'm doing something on my phone when I hear my name. I turn around and see Lando waving at me. He catches up with me. "So are you excited for the race?" I smile brightly. "Are you excited to race?" "I am, but I am more excited to see you later tonight." He smirks at me and I notice I start to blush a little. "Isn't it funny how everyone seems to only cheer for Charles since it's his homerace, but like I can count already 10 drivers that also live here?" He frowns at me "Is that what keeps your mind busy?" "Yeah kinda, is that weird?" He shakes his head and laughs "No, but I get it. He was born and raised here, and don't you dare to try to call him French, he will stare you to death. He's proud Monagasque, and the Monagasque are proud of him." He walked with me to the Red Bull hospitality. "Well, I have to run now but it was nice talking to you. See you tonight. I hope you will cheer for me." He says as he looks me up and down and winks before turning around. I really like him but I don't want to give in to my feelings. I've swore to myself I will never have a relationship again. Just me and good, reliable friends. No boys ever again, only for having fun with, not more than three times with the same guy. Just casual sex, no commitments.

It's racetime. I'm in my drivers room getting ready when there's a knock on the door. Kelly comes in and wants to wish me good luck. She kisses me slowly and I hold her thight. She has been here for every high and low for the past three years. Zoë also walks in, which catches me by surprise. "Hey, I thought you would be waiting in the garage?" She smiles shyly. "I'm trying to avoid as many cameras as I can today, how do you guys deal with that all the time?" I smile at her. "I just ignore them all, works great." she laughs. "Well uhm, good luck or something." she says and high fives me. "Eh yeah thanks." "Although I don't really think you need luck. Are you nervous?" I shake my head. "Nah, just another race, nothing too special." She rolls her eyes. "So cocky, you're priveleged that this is your job unlike any others here." "Don't get mad at me you're not racing anymore." "Well it kinda is your fau-" Kelly sighs deeply "Will you two please stop fighting for one day, god it's making me crazy." She gives me a quick kiss and pushes Zoë out. "We're not fighting all the time." I hear Zoë say in the distance in disbelieve. "Zo, this was not the place nor time to go at him." Kelly says annoyed. She has my back. The race wasn't too spectecular. A red flag due to Alex making a drivers error right before the tunnel which caused a restart. I finished the race in first place. Tonight the party is going to be a lot of fun, letting loose of all the tension.
