A week later
Leilani and Hailey's gender reveal party

You looked at your outfit one more time in the mirror before Eren dragged you away and out to the car. "You put both the presents in the car right?" you looked up at Eren and he nodded. You both walked outside to Eren's car. "Hopefully this goes well". Hailey was stressing to you last night about the whole thing. The unexpected teenage pregnancy already has her parents on edge. The fact that they also hate Boyd doesn't make things any better. Also, Jolene is going to be there. Boyd invited Connie and Connie is bringing her as a plus one. So who knows if she'll fucking act out or not. You grabbed Eren's hand while he drove to the place. Since it's nice outside they decided to have the party outside.

When you arrive you take a breath of fresh air. Knowing Jolene was showing her hoe ass here made you angry. But you needed to be there for your friend right now. You grabbed one of the presents out the back and so did Eren. You walked over to Hailey, her gloomy face lightened. "Thank god you're here. You can put the presents on this table over here" you nod your head and you Eren place the presents on the table. Eren wraps his arm around your waist and places a kiss on your head. "Leilani and Boyd are irritating me. They both barley helped me set up because they were fucking arguing. Now all of sudden they both are happy together like nothing happened. Ugh wait I'll be right back, my order should be at the door now" Hailey walked away and inside the house. "I feel so bad for her" you say looking up at Eren. "I mean like Boyd and Leilani. They are toxic. That's kind of like their personalities". You glared at him. "I'm telling the truth, it's not like i'm lying" he shrugged.

Hailey came back with a big box of cupcakes and a bunch of guests following her. Connie and Jolene hand in hand. Connie walked over and dapped up Eren then started talking. Jolene and you just stared at each other until she rolled her eyes. You walked over to Hailey. You weren't going to fight this bum ass bitch at your friends party right now. "Are you feeling better?" she nodded. "Everything is going smoothly. Well, at least for now it is".

As the party goes on everything seems to continue going good. Hailey slowly was distressing and actually having fun. Most likely because Jean had shown up and brought a gigantic present. A lot of her family had come and was a big support. Leilani and Boyd have been able to act like the perfect couple. It was now time for the gender reveal of both the babies. Everyone gathered around. They both had balloons in their hands. "3! 2! 1!". They both popped the balloon and pink smoke came flying out. You ran over to Hailey and hugged her. You both screamed your lungs out. Leilani and Boyd hugged and kissed each other. Boyd walked over to you and Hailey and hugged her. You saw him whisper something into her ear that made her smile. You loved how happy and genuine her smile was. It warms your heart completely.

The happy moment was cut short when an unexpected guest arrived. Armin Arlert runs into the party. Everyone turns and looks at him. He's panting and his forehead is glistening in the sun. He must've ran here. The question is why? Leilani's face is pale like she saw a fucking ghost. Armin stares at her and she stares right back. Boyd sits there confused and angry. Boyd and Armin aint friendly with another ever since one night at stupid fucking party. "Armin, what are you doing right now?" Armin opens his mouth, but no words fall out. "Leilani I'm sorry". All eyes on her now. Her eyes are on the verge of tears. Her hands are shaking. She walks over to Armin and grabs his wrist and tries to pull him from everyone. He refuses. "Leilani we have to tell everyone" he says aloud. "Tell everyone what Leilani?" Boyd's tone is filled with anger.

"The baby is mine, not yours Boyd". 

Eyes widen around and gasps are heard. You yourself were shocked. Leilani walks over to Boyd and tries to grab his hand but he pushes her away. Tears fill both their eyes and the air feels cold. Boyd says nothing. You could see the tears falling down his face as he looked between Leilani and Armin. "I can't even be around you right now". He walks out the party leaving everyone still in shock and but of sadness. Leilani runs after him.

Everyone starts to leave. You, Jean, and Eren stay and help Hailey clean up all the stuff from the party. "Plot twist right?" Eren says trying to lighten the mood. You hit his shoulder for being an idiot. "He's right. No one expected that shit to happen", Hailey laughs after that and it makes the rest of you laugh. "I never thought those two would have a thing" "i don't think anyone did".

After you finish cleaning up you say your goodbyes and go to the car with Eren. While Eren drives to your house. A message from an unknown number with a video. Another message popped up right after. 'This is the real Eren'. You looked at your phone and then looked at Eren. you closed your phone and looked out the window. You didn't say anything the whole ride. When you pulled up to your house Eren kissed the side of your face and you gave him a smile back and then walked into your house. You went straight to your room and closed the door. You went to the messages and you pressed on the video.

You wished you hadn't.

You wish someone told you that pressing on that video would change things forever.

You wish someone told you that everything that happened in these last couple of months was fake and meaningless.

The video you could already tell was a party from during the summertime. You had actually gone to the party but left early because it wasn't really your thing and your friends had dragged you along. A bunch of people were gathered around the couch. Eren was right in the middle with all eyes on him. He was clearly drunk and was still drinking. The room was dimly lit with LED lights. One of the people in the video had mentioned your name. "y/n l/n? Ain't that the bitch that likes to fucking paint all day?" Eren asked. Everyone laughed. "I mean i'd fuck her, but that's all. She's been in my classes for the past couple years. She is not anything special though. She's dull, boring, and most of all she's always trying to be the best at something. Like just because yk what 2+2 is doesn't make you the shit. But you know I might just fuck around her a little bit this year. Just for fun though? Make her like me and then dip on her when I get her wrapped type shit". Everyone laughed and you could see Jolene. Sitting right next to Eren laughing with everyone. The video ended and you threw your phone.

You never knew Eren had said that shit about you. You especially didn't know that Jolene was there too and she never said anything. You sobbed into your pillow because that's all you could do. Your heart was shattered. You wondered who else knew about this? You felt so embarrassed. You played right into his hands. Your worst fears come to life in an instant. Was everything truly fake? Did nothing he said or did actually mean something? Was this whole thing one big joke that you weren't in on? The more you thought about it the more a piece of your heart broke off.
