I try to concentrate on the circuit board I'm trying to fix. It should be able to give up more power for our security systems. (I'm not sure. I've never dealt with one so I don't know what a circuit board actually does.) I can hear Raph murdering his punching bag again and Leo's meditating in his room. I'm not sure where Mikey is. It's kind of quiet without him making some kind of noise. "Hey, Jarvis..." I call to my A.I. "Yes, sir?" "Play 'Shell Shock' will ya?" "Of course sir." 'Shell Shock floats around in the lab as I finish and I start rapping and dancing and doing flips to the music.

I don't notice Raph, April, Karai, Jennie, Alyssa, Leo, and Mikey peek inside the door. "I-is Donnie rapping?" Leo asks the rest of them. "As in our read every book, I don't dance, I can't sing, I don't like fighting if i can help it pacifistic brother?"

I snap my fingers to the beat, sliding from side to side like I've seen on TV. Raph's green eyes goes wide, his jaw almost hitting the floor at what I'm doing because I've never shown much interest in his type of music before. None of us notice the Circuit board starting to spark and emit small shocks of electricity.

After a couple minutes, the circuit board goes crazy, catching my attention. I try to fix it, picking up my screwdriver. The metal attracts the electricity and electrocutes me, sending me crashing into the wall and making my heart stop in my chest. My spirit leaves my body and floats above it. Everyone races into the room, Leo reaching me first. I see April approaching the circuit board, reaching out to touch it. If I could, I would have told her not to. Raph beats me to the punch fortunately and yanks her hand back before she touches it. "That thing jus' fried Don an' yer gonna try an' touch it? Are ya crazy?" Leo tries to do CPR after finding that I don't have a pulse, which was kind of obious to me. I mean, for one, I was electrocuted and thrown into a wall. And two, my spirit isn't in my body anymore. "Don't you dare die on my Donnie. Don't you dare." It takes a couple minutes of Leo's begging and CPR before I feel my spirit tugging me, trying to reunite with my body. And why would I try to fight it? I close my eyes and when I open them, I'm not staring at my body from above anymore. I'm staring into Leo's calm, but bordering on freaking out eyes as he shouts my name and hugs me tightly. I look around at the rest of my family. "Did anybody get the license plate number on that Kraang ship?" I ask, smiling a little. Everybody laughs and I smile to myself. I'm not the only one who can make our family laugh. "Are you ok now Donnie?" Mikey kneels next to me. Concern etched into his baby blue eyes. I nod my head. "Yeah. I'll be fine. I think the Circuit board was just overloading on how much power it was trying to put out. April, don't touch the circuit board. I was going to warn you, but I couldn't." Everybody's face is scrunched up in confusion. "My spirit left my body. It was kind of weird. But when Leo was doing CPR and checking my pulse, April was trying to touch the circuit board. I would have warned her if I had a voice but I couldn't. Raph, thanks for stopping her." He smirks proudly, making me roll my eyes. "No problem Ototo." (little brother.)
