It was the next morning. Hongjoong woke up to the sound of muffled talking. After a while of listening, he recognized the voices: it was Yunho talking to Mingi. Hongjoong smiled; he knew he could trust Yunho. Suddenly, the door burst open, startling the others awake. Mingi walked into the roomwith Yunho following closely behind him. Mingi approached Hongjoong's cell and sat down in front of it.
"So..." He said, "Yunho told me about you guys. He already told you my story, so how about you tell me yours?"
"Well, it's a long story, but since you're letting me talk..." Hongjoong said.
He told Mingi the story of the crystal.
"So, what I'm really trying to say is..." Hongjoong said after he explained everything, "...we need you, Mingi. What do you say?"
Mingi seemed to be very surprised by Hongjoong's story.
"Hmm..." he said, "I say...-"
*BANG!*
A loud noise came from the deck. Mingi quickly stood up.
"What was that?!" He exclaimed.
Mingi ran out to the deck.
"Yunho, let them out of their cells." He said as he ran out of the room.
Yunho nodded and opened the three jail cells. The six boys stepped out.
"Thank you so much, Yunho!" Jongho said.
"You really helped us out!" Hongjoong added.
"Heh! No problem!" Yunho said, smiling, "I've known Mingi for a long time, so I know how to convince hi-"
"AAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" Someone screamed.
The seven boys turned towards the source of the sound.
"That was Mingi!!" Yunho said, "Something might be wrong!"
Yunho ran to the deck and the others followed him. When they reached the source of the scream, they all froze in shock. Standing in front of the ship was a massive sea monster. It had eight giant tentacles and its blinding white skin had large diamonds on it. There were pointed crystals on the ends of its tentacles and its eyes were clear like glass. Mingi was standing on the edge of the ship, wielding a large, slightly curved sword. Yunho ran to Mingi's side.
"What is that thing?!" He asked frantically.
"I don't know!!" Mingi shouted over the roaring of the monster, "But it already destroyed half of the deck!"
Yunho looked down. There was a massive, gaping hole in the ship. The ship was practically cut in two. Mingi charged at the monster. He sliced its tentacle open. It spilled clear blood onto the deck and into the ocean. The creature slashed its tentacle at the boys. They all dove for cover as the monster destroyed more of the ship. When they looked around the ship, they saw all of the crew mates getting snatched up and eaten by the monster. Then they noticed Mingi was missing.
"Mingi?!" Hongjoong called out, "Where are you?!"
"AAAGH!!!" Mingi cried out.
Hongjoong looked around for Mingi, then he saw him hanging onto the tentacle of the beast. He climbed onto the tentacle and stabbed it. The monster roared in pai, then it flailed its tentacle, sending Mingi flying into the ocean.
"MINGI!!!" Yunho cried out as Mingi fell into the water.
Suddenly, the monster swung its tentacle across the ship, sending all seven boys falling into the water. The boys hit the water and sank underneath the surface. Hongjoong desperately tried to swim to the surface, but his arms were too weak from the attack. The others tried to swim as well, but then they began to lose consciousness. Their eyes closed as they sank beneath the surface of the ocean.
