Dear Diary,

I will continue where I left off. Where were we? Oh, yes. I exited the coffee shop and hopped in my truck. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.

Lace: You didn't answer my question.

Me: What question?

Lace: What's your type?

Me: I am driving, so I can't type, and I have nowhere to put my phone if you call me. I'll visit tomorrow, goodnight.

Lace: Oh, right! Ok, good night to you, for me it's still the afternoon, and I sleep at twelve.

Me: Ok, byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I chugged my coffee and saved the biscuit for Beau. Beau can be both energetic and lazy. He'll become hyper in the afternoon when I don't take him out for a walk during the day. Ten minutes later, I got home and saw him jumping up and down in the doorway. He knocks me down with his hugs—Beau's clingy too.

"Ready to go for a walk?" He barked, grabbed his leash, and shoved it into my hand to confirm it. So we went for a walk, but it soon turned into a run. I anticipated this. All of my energy went into that run.

We got back at around seven, nearly eight, at night.

The next day.

Dear Diary,

I finished my painting of a mountain with flowers and the sky and clouds surrounding a couple walking up the mountain. After that, I was eager to go back to the coffee shop. I arrived around one in the afternoon. Again there was no one inside, and Lacey was on her phone.

"OMG! Hi Eclaire!"

"Hello."

"Ok, now you have to answer my question."

"Why?"

"Because I am the greatest matchmaker out there!"

"How many couples have you matched?"

"Never mind that! I am determined to find you a partner, especially since you told me you lost your dream of romance!"

"Alright, fine. I like very tall guys. I like them to be sweet but serious. But not too serious, just when he needs to be."

"Hmhm, go on."

"It doesn't matter what he looks like. But, oh! And he needs to be very romantic!"

"Wow."

"What?" Did I say too much?

"Do you believe in destiny?"

"Yes?"

At that moment, the door opened. A pale man entered the shop. He was even radiating serious energy. He had brown/blonde hair, light brown eyes, and was tall. I turned back to find Lacey smirking. But then I jerked my head back to him.

"HELLO!!" Her volume almost broke my eardrums.

"How are you doing?"

"The shop's doing A-ok. Plus, I have a new best friend! Her name's Eclaire, and she lost her dream of finding love!" I immediately shot her a glare.

"Hello, Eclaire, the name's Arie." He stuck his hand out to me.

"Hi," I shook his hand. I guess he likes to be formal.
