In which the second born fights to prove he is much more than just a dragon.

Firestone, a large island just a week-sail from Wessex, was the home to the Vulcan house and their legendary dragons. The royal Vulcan family lived in harmony with their people since the beginning of time. The King Regald and his lady wife ruled peacefully while raising their eldest daughter, Aelora, and youngest son, Aenys.
But, one terrifying night led to the end of oblivious peace within the island's borders. The Queen was found dead, burned and hung just outside of the palace with her guards nowhere to be found. The king, buried in grief shut down all the docks and had his dragon, Radsun, circling the island from above to warn visitors off.
Firestone lost its heart that day but as the two Vulcan children aged, the soul of the island began to shine once again.
