Chapter 2

                  *** Three Months Later ***

"If your going to take me off campus the least you could do is feed me" Kourtney complain as she, Jason and Jason's bestfriend Ricky walked into a jewelry store.

"A mean she isn't wrong this is the 8 jewelry store we have been in" Ricky said agreeing with Kourtney.

"We'll get something to eat after this" he told them, "you said that three store ago" they told him in unison.

Jason rolled his eyes, "I don't see why you complaining, I gave you something to snack on" he told her.

"A toothpick is not a snack!" Kourtney snapped at him annoyed.

Jason ignore them and spoke to the sales rep, "you think Sabrina pregnant?" Kourtney asked Ricky.

"I don't know, shouldn't you be asking your brother that?" Ricky asked her.

"I did, he said no but I rather talked to Sabrina face to face about that" Kourtney answered him.

"Will y'all stop talking about me like am not standing right here!" Jason looked behind him at them.

Kourtney went to answered "I need your help picking out a ring, like today" he told her before she could say anything.

They eventually found the perfect ring for Sabrina, "so when are you going to pop the question?" Kourtney asked Jason as they left the store.

"When the time is right" he answered, "okay but whenever you are ready just let me know so I can help you" she told him.

                    *** Three Weeks Later ***

"I need your help!" Jason said over the phone to Kourtney.

Lucky she had in her earpods because she's in class, "when don't you?" She asked rhetorically.

"Am proposing to Sabrina tonight" he told her, "YOUR WHAT?!" Kourtney yelled out accidentally.

This cause everyone to look at her, "Is there a problem Ms. Taylor?" Her professor questioned annoyed that his lesson was interrupted.

This cause Kourtney to slightly panicked she forgot for a quick second that she was in class.

"Um yeah. I um read ahead of your book and um saw what Killian decided to do on page um 78 and couldn't believe it" she stuttered out an excuse.

It went dead silent, "let's continue" the professor said turn back to his book, which cause everyone to go back to the book as well.

Kourtney could hear Jason laugh over the phone, "shut up, why did you wait last minute to now tell me this?" Kourtney question.

"I decided an hour ago, so are you going to help me or not?" He asked her.

"Normally I would let you begged me but since I was already planning this without you knowing. I only have a few calls to make and everything will be ready" she told him smiling.

"Thank you, you are the best sister ever" he told her greatful, "and don't ever forget it" she told him smugly and disconnected the call.

"Verdict?" Jason asked, "amazing, my parents took me to see opera as a little girl. Back then all that mattered to me was the music and the customs. But now, I realize all that its all about love and ultimately...." Sabrina trailed off, "compatible" Jason finished for her.

Sabrina smiled, "Jason Taylor you are full of surprises" she compliments him.

"Babe, I have you to thank for it, to think that I grew up in the city and all this time I had no idea that all this was available to us. I mean opera" Jason says and they cross the street from the opera house.
