Hades is just about ready to shoot that damn clock off the wall

Hades is just about ready to shoot that damn clock off the wall. The constant ticking is rattling through his brain and giving him a killer headache.

He is currently slouched beside his sister while his parents sit either side of them in pristine white armchairs and Pugsley is cross-legged on the floor. Hades has his chin propped up on his hand as he leans against his mother's chair. There are so many other places he wants to be right now.

"So, who wants to start?" Dr. Kinbott asks. Unsurprisingly, no one volunteers to talk about their feelings. Big shocker there. "Maybe we can discuss what it's like having Wednesday away from home?" Gomez opens his mouth but quickly closes it again, Morticia also remains unwilling to talk.

"I mean, for me..." Pugsley speaks up but hesitates with what he's saying. "It's been hard not having Wednesday and Hades around. I never thought I'd miss being waterboarded or having knives thrown at me so much."

"You're an excellent live target, Pugs." Hades compliments, watching his brother's face light up slightly.

Kinbott seems somewhat concerned by the interaction but chooses not to comment on the Addams' strange customs. "Morticia, Gomez. How have you been coping?"

"It's been torture for us too." Morticia replies.

"Fortunately, my brother Fester's rack fits two people." Gomez adds on, making Hades cringe.

"Nothing like a good stretch to bring out the best in each other." Morticia extends her hand in front of her children as Gomez holds it with his own.

"Querida mía." He begins passionately kissing his wife's hand, making everyone in the room uncomfortable.

"Um..." Kinbott attempts to intervene as the long smooches continue.

Finally, Wednesday shouts, "Enough!" This mercifully makes the couple separate.

"Please keep your hands and lips to yourself for the remainder of the session." Hades requests like a flight attendant, not particularly fond of bearing witness to his parents' desire for each other.

Wednesday stands up from her chair to reveal a folder and strides to address her family. "I think it's high time my parents faced the music. It seems they've been lying to us. Keeping secrets. Murderous secrets that need to be addressed." She holds up the case file of the man their father supposedly murdered. "Who was Garrett Gates and why are you accused of murdering him?"

"Whoa." Pugsley grins in awe.

"Just so we're clear, I think it's amazing to have a murderer for a father." Hades tells Gomez truthfully. "It's better than just attempted murderer." He shudders at the word 'attempted'. He will never live down that shame.

"Those charges were dropped. Your father is an innocent man." Morticia defends as Gomez seems to be at a loss for words.

"How disappointing." Hades mumbles to himself.
