Joseph, Mosh, and Chill were in Cheshire City, discussing how they would get out of this dimension. "Well, you're the expert, Mosh." Said Joseph. "How do we do this?"
"I don't know, I was just gathering stuff we might need." Said Mosh. They talked for a bit trying to think of ways to get out. Chill had no idea what they were talking about. "Let's think about what we know." Said Mosh. "We can't escape this place because the space-time plane is holding us here." They thought for a second. "What if we weren't on the space-time plane?" Said Joseph. "Maybe we could get under the plane?" He used a holographic projector
that was in the classroom to point at what he was talking about. "That's not how it works." Said Mosh. "It can't be passed through, it can only be bent."
"Well, what is stopping us?" Asked Joseph. "The laws of this dimension weave into the plane, keeping it in tact." Responded Mosh. "So if we break the laws of physics, we can get out?" Asked Joseph"Not exactly." Said Mosh. "That kind of thing happens all of the time, the universe just fixes them when these tears appear. Plus, the tear would be too small for anything to happen from it." Joseph thought about the living world, and tried to find how this happened there.
Joseph and Mosh continued going back and forth, thinking of ideas and ways to break the laws of physics. Chill zoned out, and couldn't follow what they were saying. Something about tears in space, black holes, and other science-y things. The two of them came to an agreement on how to get out. Chill zoned back in when Joseph asked,
"so we just need a tear?"
"Where are we going to get something that breaks the laws of this dimension?" Joseph and Mosh looked Chill. "No! You are not using me for a science experiment." He said. "Don't worry." Said Joseph. "We'll only do that if we can't find anything else. Besides, I'm sure you'd be fine."
They agreed to disagree, and decided to argue about it later. "But where are we going to get something infinitely dense?" Asked Joseph. "I heard about this thing that can take, give, and move energy anyway you want it to." Said Mosh. "Where?" Asked Joseph. "I don't know." He replied. "I just heard it from someone."
"Who?" Asked Joseph. "You won't like it." Replied Mosh. "Just tell me." Said Joseph. "Well..." started Mosh. "I heard it from Gavin.""Gavin?!" Said Joseph. "Look, I know he's an asshole, but he knows where to find this thing." Said Mosh. "Ohh, no. I've dealt with him already. I am not dealing with him again." Said Joseph. "He just ticks me off."
"Cmon, Joseph!" Said Mosh. "He's not that bad."
"I know he's not that bad!" Said Joseph. "He still annoys the hell outta me though! Besides, he disappeared a while ago, no idea where he went."
"Actually..." started Mosh. "I know where he's at. He's... he's in Mary's web."
"Which one?" Asked Joseph. "The web. The biggest one." Said Mosh. "So, you expect us to just barge in there, grab one of her puppets, and expect to get away?" Joseph asked. "Not exactly," said Mosh. "She might let us in, she sometimes does that. In the deepest part of her web, she puts on her damned shows using her puppets. If we can get her to use Gavin in a play, we could get him out of there." Joseph scoffed. "That sounds like a great idea. Let's go in the deepest part of Mary's deadly web and steal something from one of the most dangerous monsters in the dawned zone, then try to escape while all eyes are on us."
"We don't need to steal it," said Mosh. "We just need to cut his strings. We can work from there."
"But how are we gonna get in?" Asked Joseph. "Mary let's certain people in; people she sees as an ally. I have a way to get in without her realizing why were really there. We can then ask her to put on a show for us, and then cut the strings when she does. In her web, she meticulously weaved her strings the way she likes it. When we escape, Mary will be careful not to mess up her puppets, so we have a chance to escape."
"But what about her puppets?" Asked Joseph. "Won't they chase us?"
"Yes, but not right away." Said Mosh. "Mary needs to move the right strings to use her attacking puppets."
"So," started Joseph, "the plan is: get invited to Mary's web as a party guest, then ask for a play in which all the actors are corpses, then proceed to mess up the play, then make a mad dash out of her web."
"That's one way of saying it, but yes." Replied Mosh. "Ok, let's go then." Said Joseph.
