First day of School

Y/n and Plagg followed Professor Kukui to his car as the pair of galarian misfits jumped into the car. Kukui took to the driver's seat and drove towards a large building.

Y/n:What is this place?
Kukui:This is the pokemon school. A place where trainer in Alola can come and learn about Pokemon. I teach here so I thought it would good for you to be enrolled.
Y/n simply nodded as truthfully he didn't have a choice but to comply since the alternative was to be locked away in a juvenile detention center. The car parked in front of it as Kukui lead him towards a classroom. He told the child to wait outside for him to call him.
Kukui:Alola class!
Class:Alola Professor!
Kukui:Today we have a new student enrolling with us!
The class begin to murmur about who it was with some talking about the possibilities of a kid called Illima coming back.
Kukui:Please welcome Y/n.
Y/n walked  into the class and he met the eyes of his new classmates. There was a young man just a bit shorter then him who shared Kukui's behavior of not wearing a shirt, a young girl with green hair and eyes who wore overalls,  a small girl with blue hair and a chubby kid kid. However two of the people in the room were familiar to him.
Y/n:Excuse me but are you Ash, the runner up of the Kalos League?
Ash was taken aback that somebody knew of his accomplishments.
Ash:Yeah I am.
Y/n:That's awesome. Me and Plagg watched your match back in Galar.
Ash:Cool.
But then a gasp came the girl that he recognized.
???:It's you!
Blue hair:You know him Lillie?
Lillie:Yes, he is the boy I told you about. The one who broke into my house.
Gasps come from everyone but Y/n, Lillie and Kukui as the shirtless boy grabs the collar of Y/n.
Redhead:How dare you show your face here after trying to steal from one of us?!
Plagg snarls as he is about to attack but he is beaten to the literal punch as out of self defense Y/n slams his fist into the red head's face and due to the training living on the streets caused this sends the boy hurling towards the fence. Although a large turtle like pokemon tries to save him he too us beaten by Y/n as he grabs the boys leg and keeps him dangling over the edge for a little bit before Kukui clears his throat which caused Y/n to bring him back up.
Kukui:Y/n here is our new student as a part of some kind of, let's say juvenile program to prevent him from going to prison.
Ash:So this is the guy you told me about?
Kukui:Yes he is.
Ash then walks up to Y/n who tenses up slightly but only receives a handshake.
Ash:Nice to meet ya.
The class gasps except Lillie because deep down she knows that he isn't that bad. The boy from before angrily yells at Ash.
Red head:Ash what are you doing?!
Ash:I am greeting him properly Kiawe. Besides just looking at his Meowth you can see that he cares for him.
Kiawe scoffs as the lesson continues. Y/n learns that the names of the other students are Sophocles, Lana and Mallow and just like Kiawe, they too dislike him for his crime against Lillie. However, Lillie has now shown him kindness.

It is now the end of the lesson and they are at recess. The class go to the playground as they started to talk to each other while Y/N, Plagg, Ace Swiper and Chaplin were training The other students looked at him with with annoyance and disgust, besides Ash and Lillie, as news about him travelled like a virus. Ash was excited as 3 out of Y/n's 4 pokemon were pokemon  he had never seen and one of them seemed like a new form of Mr Mime. He was about to ask Y/n about but he was then interrupted by a pink and yellow flash which not only stole ash's hat but Y/N's keystone necklace that he stole from his father's room before they fled. The two trainers then followed the flash which split into two towards the forest. After about 5 minutes of running the two flashes stopped in their places and revealed tapu koko and lele.

Y/N:Why did you take my necklace and Ash's hat?
The guardians began to speak and although neither of them could really understand them they got a sense of what they said.
Tapu koko/Lele:We want to battle you two in a double battle.(

Y/n:Ash I think they want us to have a double battle.
Ash:I was thinking the same thing!
Ash now had stars in his eyes at the thought of battling the island guardians as he sent pikachu and Y/N sent out Plagg. The battlefield was coveres with a mix of electric and Psychic terrain before the wave of experience energy took over the electric terrain.
Y/n:Use Pay day on Tapu Lele!
Ash:Quick attack in Tapu Koko!
Pikachu darts at extreme speeds as he slams into Tapu Koko only for the guardian to use discharge to blow the mouse away. Plagg in unable to use fake out as the psychic terrain acted as a barrier which kept him inches from Tapu Lele's face as she giggled before blowing him back with moonblast which showed signs of lowering Plagg's special attack. Y/n only grinned as he ordered his next move.
Y/n:Lash out!
Plagg was covered in an umbral energy before his claws extended and he plunged them into Tapu Lele. The island deity cried out in pain before she pushed him off with psychic.
Lillie:Professor what was that?
Kukui:That is a move called Lash out. When a pokemon has their stats decreased the move is powered up.
Lana:So when Tapu Lele's moonblast lowered Plagg's special attack lash out got stronger?
Kukui:Exactly.
Ash:Use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu sends a bolt of lightning that strikes Tapu Koko but barely fazed him. The deities then synced up together as they both tapped the ground to release a surge of crackling fairy energy.
Lillie:Watch out that's Nature's madness!
Y/n:Plagg protect Pikachu with Pay day!
The class where shocked as Plagg threw large gold coins  around Pikachu which acted as a barrier as he leapt into the circle of coins. Both pokemon were protected as the gold coins reflected the light from the fairy type attack. Once the blinding light faded the guardians were ready to fight.
Ash:Use ThunderboltPikachu uses Thunderbolt on Tapu Koko, but after the attack, Tapu Koko is unharmed. The latter flies to Ash and touches the Z-Ring, as he wants him to use the Z-Move.
Ash triggers the Z-Ring and envelops himself with an aura, which is transferred onto Pikachu. Pikachu launches a Z-Move: Gigavolt Havoc onto Tapu Koko, making a great blast. After the explosion, Ash sees that the Electrium Z disappeared, while Tapu Koko protected himself from the attack. Tape Lele and Plagg were out of the range of the attack and so were unharmed. The deities decide to conclude the battle at that point and fly off. The group come together as they notice Ash's z crystal is missing. Kiawe sees the Electrium Z broke into pieces, stating Ash is not yet ready to use the Z-Move, as he didn't complete the trial. Ash lowers his head, but decides to take on the Island Challenge. Kukui approves of this, as do his friends, though Kiawe feels forced to do this. Ash thanks them for the support.

The night following the events Y/n is outside the house with his pokemon continuing their training when a pink flash zooms past them.
Y/n:What the hell?
The flash zooms again and again as if it was toying with them. Then it stops revealing itself to be Tapu Lele. Y/n was shocked and unconsciously bows his head at the island deity only for her to laugh like a child. She then picks him up and flies around the island as his pokemon are frantically following until they land back on the beach. Tapu lele dances happily as a bracelet descends towards Y/n and attached to it was a Normalium z.

Y/n:A z ring? But why?
However the fairy type was gone and left him with the question of why she gave the z ring to him.
