TW// cussing, talk of past trauma (family death, kidnapping, abuse), crying

Tubbo's POV

We stared at each other for a moment. His hair used to be brown and was now dyed, but it was him. I could tell. I could see it in their eyes.

They looked at me the same way. With a look of pure 'oh my god, I know you.'

"Uhhh, guys?" Tommy laughed, waving his hand near my face. I glanced at Tommy for a moment before looking back to Ranboo.

"Toby?" He asked. I laughed under my breath, covering my mouth. "There's no way. Ranboo!?" I laughed more in disbelief. He quickly stood up and came around the table, hugging me.

"Oh my god, where on earth have you been?! What the hell?" He laughed, squeezing me. I silently hugged them back, completely lost from words. "Where did you go? You disappeared off the face of the earth, basically!"

"What- What are you doing here?" I asked. "Mom got a new job around here a few months after you went radio silent. Seriously, though, what happened? Did you move and loose your phone?" Ranboo asked, pulling away from the hug, looking at me, his hands still on my arms.

He moved his hand a bit and his face changed to worry.

"What...happened to your arms?" They asked. "It's a...long, long story." I replied quietly, pulling my arms away from him and wrapping them around myself.

"I see you cut your hair! That's great! Glad to see you finally transitioning! I assume your family accepted you?" He asked. I shook my head, tears coming to my eyes. "H-Hey, why are- why are you crying? What happened?"

I didn't wanna talk about it, so I just hugged him again, staying silent. He gently patted my back, also staying quiet.

"So...what the fuck is happening?" Tommy asked. Ranboo chuckled. "Tubbo and I were literally each other's only friends a few years ago. Then he disappeared and then I moved here. I think the last time we talked was about three an a half years ago. I won't make him tell me why he was gone, though." He said, patting my shoulder and pulling out of our hug.

Tommy, Techno, and Wilbur looked back and forth at each other for a moment.

"They died." I said straight up. "W-What? Who?" Ranboo asked. "My family." I picked at my nails, then speaking again before Ranboo had the chance to.

"Our house was robbed. They- They killed my parents and took Lani and me. Lani, she uh, died a few months later. That's what happened to my arms, the two guys were harsh. U-Uhm..." My voice began to shake, "I was found about...seven or eight months ago. Tommy's family stared fostering me around a month and a half ago as well."

Ranboo pulled me back into another tight, tight hug.

"I-I'm so sorry, I didn't- why did- god, I don't even know what to say." He said, squeezing me. I sucked in my breath, the pressure of his hug paining my sore body. He didn't notice my pain, which I guess is a good thing.

We stayed like that for a few moments before he finally pulled away.

"I missed you so much, you short bastard." Ranboo said, ruffling my hair. "Hey! Rude, you prick!" I slightly punched his arm. He rolled his eyes, smiling.

"So Phil is fostering you?" The girl, Nikki, asked. I looked over at her, nodding. "That's nice. Phil's a good dad. I've met him once or twice." She said. I nodded yet again.

"Ugh, I'm starved! Sit your asses down and let's fucking eat!" Tommy groaned, plopping down at the picnic table. Ranboo and I went over and sat down next to each other on the opposite side.

After a while of sitting there, talking and eating, three boys showed up.
