A few days went by, and Freen was still caught up with her upcoming project. She couldn't visit me at my house, which made me miss her even more. Even though she called me every night after shooting, it wasn't enough. I longed to see her.

Those past few days were incredibly tough. I couldn't even breathe properly, and my mom grew worried, suggesting I go to the hospital. But I declined. The smell of stainless steel in the air made me feel even sicker. Everything about hospitals made me nauseous, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

"Becca, your brother called. Are you sure you want to go back there?" my mom asked, referring to the hospital in England. "You should let Freen know about this. What about her?" she added.

I had been pondering this since last night. Should I tell Freen that I'm returning to England to seek a second opinion? It's her right to know since she's my girlfriend now. However, I know Freen, and she would drop everything and accompany me without hesitation.

I don't want to ruin what she's been working so hard for. This is her dream, and it's mine too.

"Tell her, Becca. She deserves to know," my mom advised.

I nodded. I didn't want to hurt her again, especially after promising I wouldn't. I hope Freen understands me this time. This is for her, for my family, and for myself.

I waited all night for Freen to call me so I could share my decision with her. My condition was deteriorating each day, and I couldn't wait any longer. I had to leave now, or it might be too late.

I tried calling Freen, but she didn't pick up. I sent her multiple text messages, but there was no reply. She must be busy. Should I inform her through a text that I'm leaving? But what if she gets upset again? I'm completely clueless.

I paced back and forth, anxiously waiting for Freen's response. Hours passed, but there was still no beep from my phone. I had a flight in three hours.

"I think it's best this way, Mom. I already texted her. If she comes here, let her know I'll be back soon."

"Alright, I'll take care of everything. Just focus on getting better."

Three hours went by, and Freen still hadn't shown up. I started worrying because Freen was never like this. She would always make time for me. Why wasn't she responding to my calls or messages? Could she really be that busy?

"You have to go, Becky. I'll talk to Freen, don't worry." I said goodbye to my mom and grabbed my luggage.

I glanced back, hoping to see Freen rushing towards me. Maybe she was on her way already. Should I wait for another minute? But I would miss my flight.

"I'll be back, Freen. I promise."
