"What do you mean she's not here? Where did she go, Khun?" I asked Becky's mother, desperate to find out where she had gone.

"She's in England. She called you multiple times yesterday," she replied.

Panic washed over me. I didn't have my phone with me since I rushed to Becky's house right after my mother went to the hospital. I just needed to see her so badly.

"I left my phone yesterday. Can you tell me what she's doing there, Khun?" I inquired.

"Becky's condition is getting worse every day. Richie told her she needed medication, so he took her there yesterday. She tried to call you, but you didn't answer. What happened to you? She's worried," Becky's mother explained.

I nodded in understanding and hurriedly got into my car to drive to the agency. I had to find out what Becky had texted me.

Why did she have to leave without me again? Why is everything falling apart?

Frustration built up inside me, and I angrily pounded the steering wheel when the traffic lights turned red. "Damn it!" I muttered, running my fingers through my hair, waiting impatiently for the lights to turn green again. As soon as they did, I pressed the accelerator forcefully, eager to reach the office quickly.

Upon arrival, I spotted Love sitting in the conference room, engrossed in reading a script. She looked surprised when she saw me enter.

"What's the rush, Freen? What happened?" she asked.

"I need my phone. Where is it?" I replied, ignoring her question.

Love went to one of the drawers nearby and handed me my phone.

Thankfully, it wasn't dead, but I needed a charger. I searched for my bag, plugged in my phone, and opened my inbox. There were more than 20 missed calls from Becky and eight text messages.

"Freen, I have something important to tell you today. Are you busy?"

"This is really important, so I need to talk to you in person. But I don't know where you are."

"Why aren't you answering my calls? Are you that busy?"

"Sorry for bothering you, but I really need to tell you something."

"Babe, are you okay? I'm worried."

"I haven't been feeling well these past few days, so I asked Richie if he could pick me up a few days ago, and now I'm here. I wanted to tell you in person, but you've been busy."

"Babe, I'm already at the airport. I want to see you before I leave, but I might miss my flight."

"I love you, babe. I'll come back soon. Take care."

Tears streamed down my face as I read all her messages. Becky had been trying to reach me, and I wasn't there for her. She hadn't been feeling well, and I completely forgot about her unfinished bucket list.

"Freen," Love hugged me and rubbed my back, trying to calm me down. "Whatever it is, I know things will be okay, alright?"

Weeks passed, and I still hadn't received any news about Becky. Her mother had followed her to England a few days after she left.

My father was discharged from the hospital yesterday, so my leave had ended. The producer informed me that they couldn't postpone the shoot since many people were eagerly waiting for it to be aired.

It had been weeks, but I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. How much longer would I have to wait?

I must have read Becky's messages almost a hundred times by now, still hoping for another message from her.

"Freen, are you ready?" the assistant director asked, and I nodded.

Today was the day of the first stunt scene I had to perform. I had practiced for weeks to execute it perfectly.

As soon as they set up the rig, I instructed the operator to lift me. My mind went blank, and all I could see was Becky's smiling face in the distance.

I missed her so much that I was starting to hallucinate. I smiled back at her and continued with the stunt, determined to finish it so I could text her again, even though she wasn't replying.

"What a fantastic stunt, Freen. Take a rest; I'll call you for the next scene," the director praised, and I nodded before heading to my tent.

I collapsed onto my folding bed and closed my eyes.

I remembered the night when Becky told me she loved me too. My heart filled with warmth, bringing a smile to my face. If only I could turn back time.

"You look so tired, babe."

Now, I could hear Becky's voice echoing in my mind. My eyes remained shut, and I nodded, even though I knew it was all in my imagination.

"I miss you," I said.

"Then open your eyes."

I furrowed my brow and slowly opened my eyes. I was astonished to see Becky standing in front of me, wearing a pink camisole dress. Her hair was shorter than before, but she looked more mature.

Overwhelmed with joy, I couldn't contain myself and rushed toward Becky. She was smiling again, the same smile from years ago.

My girl was back. She had returned for me.

I held her tightly, tears of happiness streaming down my face. It was unbelievable. She was right here with me; I was actually holding her.

"Why are you crying, babe? Do you miss me that much?" she chuckled.

I playfully punched her shoulder as I wiped away my tears.

"You drive me crazy."
