The unexpected Love. (O2L fan fic)

Long Day

As soon as the doors were opened I grabbed my bags and ran off the plane. I walked as fast as I could to the gate and standing there were my best friends. I felt myself fixing to cry as I was embraced by Payton, Connor, Jc, Trevor, Kian, Andrea, Jack, Shane, Sawyer, and Joey.
"I have missed y'all so much. Now we better get going." I said.
We all walked to the next gate where Payton and I were to get on the next plane. Everyone lined up for their hugs and I hugged them all and told them that I loved them and Payton did the same. We looked at them one more time and we got on the plane.
"I have missed you so much. How are you and Sam?"
"We are doing great. And how are you and Connor?"
"We are doing amazing. I never thought I could love someone so much."
"Y'all haven't.?"
"Oh God no. We are waiting for marriage."
"Okay good." She started laughing and I looked out the window.
"So are you and Andrea getting along?" I asked her.
She sat up and said "She is really nice and I like her."
"That's good. She seems really nice."
"She is. When you get back we need to have a girls day." I nodded and she lined her head back against the window. I lined my head against her shoulder and we fell asleep. The plane landed 3 hours later and the flight attendant woke us up. We got our bags and got off the plane. We went to the help desk and asked where we could rent a car and she said that we just had to exit and go to the right 1 mile and there was a cars place there. We walked to the car place and went in.
The man at the front said "How may I help you."
"Yes we would like to rent a car for the rest of the week." I said.
He then said "Will you please follow me to the lot and you can pick out the car." We followed him and we walked around until we stopped in front of our dream car. A purple 2013 mustang. Our eyes got big and we both said at the same time "We will take this one."
The man nodded and wrote down the car number and we walked back to the office.
He said "Will you please have a seat here and you can fill out the paper work. Then you pay and the car is all yours. Can I please have your driver's license?" I nodded and handed him mine because I would be doing most of the driving. We filled out the paper work and paid and he handed me the keys and said "Have fun."
And we grabbed our stuff and walked back to the car. I opened the trunk and we put our bags in it and we got in the car. I started it and I said "Oh crap I forgot to let Sam know that we landed. Can I call him real quick?"
She nodded and I turned on my phone and dialed his number. My phone synced to the car and it started ringing through the speakers and I heard his voice.

S: Hello
J: Hey. Payton can hear you so don't say anything stupid
S: (laughing) Okay I won't and what are y'all doing
J: We just landed in Fort Worth and we just got a rental car. Then we are going to dinner then to a hotel
S: Okay sounds fun
J: What are you and Ricky doing
S: Just watching T.V.
J: Oh I left my tablet connected to it so y'all can watch Netflix
S: Oh yeah I forgot about that
J: Well tell Ricky that we love him and I'm gonna let you go
S: Okay and he said he loves y'all to. Goodnight babe I love you
J: Goodnight I love you too

And we hung up.
"Ahhh y'all are so cute" Payton said. I drove out of the lot and headed to a place to eat. We ate dinner then checked into a hotel and went to sleep. We woke up the next morning and we got dressed, but this time it was different. We usually change in the same room but I wanted to keep it a secret so I changed in the bathroom to be extra safe. We got our purses and we went to the car. I drove to the hospital where her mom was at and we went in to see her. She was lying in the bed and looked horrible.
"Hey momma." Payton said as she walked to the bed. Just seeing her laying there all stiff and cold looking set off a trigger in both of our bodies because we broke down. We were both on each side of the bed holding her hands. I kept my head bowed and my eyes closed in prayer. And I prayed for 3 hours.
When it was noon I stopped praying and looked at Payton and said "Hey Pay. I'll be back at 6 tonight to get you. I have to go see my aunt she's in the hospital as well. If anything happens call me and I will be here."
She nodded her head and I hugged her and gave her mom a kiss on the cheek and said "I love you. You were always a better mother than my mom ever was to me."
And I walked out of the room fighting back the urge to cry again. I called Adrian and asked what hospital it was and he told me. When I got there I ran up to the room and was embraced in a hug by both Adrian and John-John. I then walked over to my aunt and sat on the edge of her bed and a held her hand and started praying.
When If finished she opened her eyes and she said "I'm so sorry boys. I love you."
We all then started crying and the doctor came in and said "We flushed all of the medicine out of your body and you are good to go home now. We didn't expect you to wake up for 2 more days."
"It was a work of God." I said as I hugged my aunt and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you."
"Thank you and I love you too."
And I turned to John-John and said "My goodness you have grown. I can't believe you are 19 years old. I still remember holding you the day you were born like it was yesterday." And I hugged him and didn't want to let go. And when I did I saw a tear slip out of the corner of his eye.
"I love you so much and I don't want you to leave again." He said through gasps.
"I know you don't and I'm sorry. You can call and text me any time you want. You can even Skype me and I'll try to answer. I promise." I said trying not to cry.
"But I don't want to lose you. We grew up so close and it would kill me if anything happens to you."
"In 2-3 more weeks I will be back in LA and I will make arrangements for you to come spend the week with me and the people I live with. And if they say no then me and you will spend the week in a hotel room. How does that sound?"
"That sounds fun. But what will I do until then?"
"You can Skype, call, text, email any way you can get ahold of me and we can talk that way." He smiled and hugged me again and I had to fight back the tears even harder. When he pulled away I looked at Adrian and he smiled at me and I hugged him.
"Have fun at college and be safe out there on the field. I can't have you hurt." I said.
He looked at me and then said "I'm the older one. I'm 26 and you are 24. I'm supposed to be worrying and trying to protect you. And what's that on your hand?"
I looked at my hand and totally forgot that I had the ring on. "Okay I figured that y'all would find out sooner or later. But I got married less than two weeks ago. And we are currently in Hawaii on our honeymoon." I said hoping that they wouldn't be mad at me for not telling them.
"And what's the deal with the baggy shirts all of the sudden? You have always worn the tight form fitting shirts." He said.
And I thought **oh great he noticed. I didn't know he paid that much attention**. I took a deep breath and before I could say anything he put his hand on my stomach and his eyes got big. He then got a look of confusion and lifted my shirt up high enough to see my whole stomach and turned me so he could see it.
"This is unbelievable! My little cousin is having a baby! I can't believe it! Who's the father?! I want to meet him!" He basically yelled.
"Calm down. You were going to find that out sooner or later as well. And you will get to meet him eventually. How about the Friday night when I bring John-John home me and him go to your game and cheer you on. By then the baby bump will be bigger and my hormones will kick in and I'll be a royal bitch. And don't mention it to anyone. I don't want anybody knowing." I said trying not to laugh.
"Well if you are being a royal bitch then I might not want you to come cheer me on then. And okay we won't."
"I was only kidding. I couldn't be rude to you. And thank you. " He started laughing and then said "Well I guess you have places to be. I'll see you soon."
"Just because your two years older than me doesn't mean you can't hang with me and just because your five years younger than me doesn't mean you can't hang with me either. How about tonight y'all have dinner with Payton and I."
They smiled and gave me another hug accepting the invitation. "Make sure your mom is okay with y'all leaving. Just in case." They left and then returned and nodded their heads.
"All right lets go." I got the keys out of my purse and we started walking across the parking lot. When we finally got to the car I unlocked it and got in.
"If any of my college buddies see me in this I'm never going to live it down." Adrian said.
"Then get in the back seat with your brother. Then they can't see you. Problem solved." I said and he got in.
"So we have to go to the other hospital to get Payton. Do y'all want to stay in the car or go in with me? It's up to you."
"We'll go in." John-John said. I shook my head and started driving.
"Can you play some music? It's kinda boring." John-John asked.
"Yeah one sec." I pulled over to the side of the high way and got out the aux-cord and plugged it into the car and my phone. I opened the music app and went to my playlist called "LOVE" and put it on shuffle. It started playing and Adrian said "Who all is gonna sing?"
"Shawn Mendes, Aaron Carpenter, Brent Rivera, Jacob Whitesides, Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky, Trevor Moran, and Ricky Dillon." I answered.
"Okay so no 5sos (5SecondsOfSummer), 1D (One Direction), or the Vamps or the Jonas Brothers?" Adrian asked.
I laughed and said "They're in a different playlist. Do you want to listen to them?"
"Oh God no! If you play them I will jump out of this car." I started laughing and started driving again.
After 5 songs Adrian said "Wait you didn't say any girl names. Why is there a girl singing?"
I started laughing then said "It's not. Its Jacob Whitesides."
"You're kidding right?" I shook my head. I was trying so hard not to start jamming out to the songs that were playing. After another 10 songs I turned into the parking lot of the hospital.
I parked and paused the music and turned off the car and said "You coming?" And I got out of the car. They followed and we walked into the hospital. We got in the elevator and went to the 3rd floor and went to the room.
"Stay here." I said motioning for them to stay in the hallway. They stayed and I walked into the room. Payton was sitting in a chair next to the bed and I walked over to her and said "Hey are you hungry? If so we are going to dinner."
She nodded and kissed her mother on the forehead and said "I'll be back in the morning. I love you so much."
And we walked out of the room. "Come on boys lets go have fun." I said as we walked passed them.
