just before we get stuck into this book, i just want to write this disclaimer!
i do not own any of the celebrities or face claims that are featured in my book. i have no affiliation or ownership of westlife, their music or live performances. however, i do own the storyline and character of melodie filan and all the other characters that are not based upon a real-life person.
in this story, shane has a younger sister, melodie filan, who is the main character. once named marielle, it has now been reworked and changed to melodie. all the other members of westlife (shane included) will have their normal children, spouses and siblings, the only thing that's changing is the number of shane's siblings. shane absolutely only has three sisters, mairead, denise and yvonne and he is the youngest of his family. and this is just being reworked and rewritten because of me having the inspiration suddenly to rework my kian egan fanfiction called ocean eyes. so i decided why not rework this one and also change it up slightly, especially when i slowly lost the love of the name of my main character, hence the decision to change the name from marielle to melodie. and i think melodie is just a perfect name for shane filan's fictionalised younger sister to have in my personal opinion!
all photos in regards to melodie have been taken from pinterest which mean they won't all look exactly the same. however, to give you a rough idea of what melodie looks like, she physically looks identical to shane however she just has lighter brown hair that has been dyed a light dirty blonde.
and just one last thing before finishing up this disclaimer, if you haven't noticed already from my other books here on wattpad and maybe even my works on tumblr, this book will have some mature themes like swearing, mentions of alcohol, some sexual innuendos as well as dark humour to deal with past traumas and mental health of the main character. and, absolutely not, is this me mocking or romanticizing mental health because why would i when the things i joke about are the things i deal with in real life on the daily and connecting that into my original character. especially when mental health is the least romantic thing in the planet.
