"Okay kids, gather around for snack time!" Said the very happy mid age teacher. "What are we going to be having today Ms. Mendes?" I ask politely. "Today we are going to be having cookies and juice." She replays clapping her hands together. I smile and nod my head and run back to my friends. I sit down and just talk about kelly's birthday party. Later the teacher walks out with the snacks. I run up to her waiting for my turn. Once she passes the snacks to everyone, she give me a cookie and juice. I smile at her and walk back to my seat, when my cookie gets snatch away from me. "Hey that's not nice!!" I say turning around seeing Jack the new kid. "Too bad it's mine now." He says taking a bit from MY cookie. I gasp and let my 5 year old self get the best of me. I grab him by the arm and start to pitch him as he cries out in pain. "AAHHHH OW!!!!" He screams out. Then he takes his hand and starts to pitch my arm. "OWWWW!!" I scream out in pain. "KIDS!" Says the teacher separating us a part. "What's going on here??" She asks. "Jack took my cookie." I automatically scream out. "Jack is this true?" The teacher asks him. "Yeah but.....she pitched me!!" He says making my face grow red from guilt. "Is this true Scarlet?" She asks. I look down, "Yes.....but he pitched me too." "Y'all know pitching isn't nice to do?" She says pointing her finger towards us. "Yes..." We both say in union. "Both of y'all go sit in time out and think about what y'all did." She says pushing me gently towards one corner and Jack on the other side of the room. I sigh of guilt for getting in trouble. That day was the day that I vowed that I would hate Jack Gilinsky for the rest of my life.
