010. | GAME NIGHT MAYHEM — AFTER HOURS, LANDO NORRIS
The 2022 season had kicked off in spectacular fashion for Ferrari, beating all expectations. It was a true blessing, especially considering their struggles in the previous season.
Charles Leclerc and his Ferrari had claimed victory in Bahrain, with Carlos Sainz closely following to secure a 1-2 finish. The Tifosi, the passionate Ferrari fans, couldn't have been happier. Cheers erupted from the crowd as they celebrated the team's first win since 2019.
As Leclerc and Sainz arrived in parc fermé, they were embraced by their team members, who showered them with hugs and congratulations. The atmosphere in the Ferrari camp was one of pure celebration. However, the other side of the paddock remained quiet, filled only with the sighs of the less fortunate drivers.
Both Red Bull cars had suffered a DNF, leaving them without any points in the standings. This setback put Ferrari in the lead in both the Drivers' and Constructors' Championships. On the other hand, neither of the McLaren cars had managed to score any points either, resulting in a disappointing start to the season for their team.
Lando Norris had retreated to his driver's room, isolating himself from the disappointment. He refused to come out until Emery was sent in to coax him out. The British driver felt a deep sense of disappointment, especially considering the promising results of the pre-season testing. However, he also found some solace in the fact that his teammate was also unable to secure points. It was clear that the team as a whole needed to address and overcome their challenges.
After Emery pulled Lando out of his misery and therefore his cave of depression—his drivers room, they decided to accept Charles and Carlos's invitation to go out and party with them. Lando wanted nothing more than to just go back to the hotel and stay there, but Emery insisted they went.
The start of the season had been absolutely incredible for the Ferrari drivers, and they were determined to celebrate their success in a memorable way. However, to Emery's surprise, the celebration took a different turn than she had expected.
