Valentine's Week, Day 4: Teddy Day 🧸
I reach there
A little too early
Anxious that if I'm late,
He's not going to wait.To my surprise,
He's here before time
In his puffy jacket
Looking like a teddy bear.Without thinking,
I run to him
And hold him tight
In his arms, it feels so right. We stand like that
For a long time
Then go for a walk,
Me giggling all the while.I gently hold his hand
And he doesn't resist.
I look into his eyes,
And the nostalgia hits.I know he feels it too
Remembering all the
Silly goofy things
We used to do.I boop his nose
And say "You're so cute!"
Then we reminisce about
Everything huge and minute. His eyes sparkle when
We get his favourite ice cream
Someone please pinch me,
I hope it's not a daydream! The day comes to an end
On a hopeful note
Reminding us both that
We're just a couple of weirdos. It leaves me
Craving for him more,
Hoping it makes him feel
Something he can't ignore.
Happy Teddy Day, dear readers! 🧸
