An old friend

Hey, guys thanks to everyone one who has read this story up until now. I hope everyone liked the filler chapter. It took me a while to type up and even longer to plan and draft it. I have just realised that I have people in India reading my story. OMG...I can't believe that. Thank you so much to everyone that reads my stories. I know I keep repeating it but I have been stressing lately about my upcoming mock and GCSE and writing this story has been an escape for me. Now onto the chapter...I hope everyone enjoys this chapter. Also btw...I have just finished Error 404 here on Wattpad and if you have not checked it out lease go do it now. Avery POV

I had just found out that I might be a greek demigod off of these two... they are demigods as well. I thought Jameson and I agreed on no more secrets. The look on his face when the other boy (Percy) mentioned demigods told me that he already knew about them. I need to speak to him about that later. I thought that we were past keeping secrets from each other but obviously not. We have had trust issues before.

Flashback(This is set during the third book of the actual book series)

I have just got back to Hawthorn House after the little incident with the most recent delivery and the fire that it caused. "What happened, heiress?" Jameson asks me. "Don't worry, the fire was small" Xander points out. The worrying look on Jameson's face makes mine flush red but he doesn't care and turns to me, "What fire? Tell us, heiress." I tell him and he replies, "Well then, game on heiress" After that Grayson asked me where Avery was and I told him that she was staying with Bec's mum. After that, he decided to go talk to her and found out that she was gone and had ditched her guards at the toilets. Jameson invoked 'on spark' meaning that the other cannot talk until the one that invoked it had finished and then Grayson decided to forfeit his right to fight with Jameson, my boyfriend told me he needed to talk to me privately but actually trapped me in a puzzle room while he told me how he got his scar and went off Grayson. 

Flashback over

I was asked if I wanted to go to the camp and get trained or self-train myself and me and Jameson decided to go to the camp. I packed my stuff and was about to bring my phone when Percy asked for it and put everything from my phone onto a new different model with the explanation that it was 'monster proof' and that 'Leo made them for us'? I was listening to my Spotify playlist when I felt Annabeth, who was in the passenger seat, get out of the car, making Percy look in the rear mirror and suddenly break. Behind us, I could see that there was a massive bull-like creature. I learnt quite a bit about Greek Mythology when I moved into Hawthorn House, I only learnt enough to be able to correctly name and recognise and monster, so I knew that the thing behind us was a Minotaur and that Perseus( the original) had defeated this thing and sent it to Tartarus several times. The time that it took Percy to defeat this thing also made me think that he was living up to his namesake. When Annabeth got back in the car I didn't even see her. She explained to us that the thing that used to be tracking us was a Minotaur and that Percy had indeed sent it back to where it belonged several times as I had assumed. She also said sorry for scaring us, she had her 'invisibility cap' on so we couldn't see her. She used it every time the Minotaur turned up, smelling Percy's scent.

When we got to Camp I was claimed as a daughter of Artemis and Jameson gets claimed as a son of Poseidon, making someone called Thalia come running up to me. Percy also runs up to Jameson and 'bro hugs' him. Annabeth talks to Thalia in a different language that I am somehow fluent in. I think it is Ancient Greek by the sounds of it.

"How is there a daughter of Artemis? Did she break her oath?!"

"No! I think she got r*ped."

"Ahhhh, ok, that makes more sense. Also by the way, no she is not single, I know you like her like that and she can't join the hunters of Artemis.

OMG's how is everyone going to handle this...I suppose she could stay in Artemis' cabin seeming as that is her godly parent but I'm sure I could speak to Artemis right now.

Thalia concentrates on something really hard for a few moments and a few seconds after she has stopped scrunching up her face in concentration, a young girl, about the age of twelve, appears and I recognise her as Artemis, I remember from a book I read about Greek Mythology that she change her appearance as to not look her real age. Suddenly I make sense of the girl's conversation...Artemis is a maiden goddess and swore not to have any children, making her the goddess of maidenhood and childbirth. I immediately bow down to her but she waves away my attempts and goes to hug me instead...I'm not sure what to do so I just hug her back and when she pulls away I realise that I am in silver battle wear.
