we agreed that since one one would believe us about everything I had informed him of that we wouldn't tell anyone but we would find a way to fire both Dr Nick and Tom Parker without making things look so sudden.

that weekend he asked me to take a trip for the weekend with him which sounded strange to me but I knew to everybody back at graceland that it looked completely normal because it was clear to everybody but me that I was more than just part of his Memphis Mafia....i was the future Mrs Elvis Presley... it wasn't that I found that to be a bad thing I just wasn't sure I was the right fit for his wife... although if he asked I wouldn't say no.

whenever we traveled E always let his beard grow so he wasn't as easy to spot and I had to admit he looked pretty great laying by the pool.

"can I ask you something E?" I asked laying on the lounger beside him with big white sunglasses shielding my eyes from the bright sun.

"anything you want... although I have a feeling you know just about everything there is to know about me" he chuckled with his eyes closed

"theres a lot of things I don't know still thank you Mr Presley!" I laughed

"but I wanted to ask you about something that priscilla has been saying for years now... although it sounds very strange to me... really unheard of" I said as I sat up and got my phone from the bag beside my chair and pulled up the article that has been written.

"whatever you wanna ask honey" he grinned as he leaned on his side.

"she's been sprouting for years that after she gave birth to your daughter that you wouldn't have sex with her or that you found it hard due to her title as mother... i've never heard of something like that happening but I just don't think it's true when it comes to you" I said as I handed him my phone, having showed him mostly how to work it already he knew he had to scroll to read the article.

it took him a few minutes to read it before he handed the phone back and looked me in the eyes before saying

"i might have to take a little time to get use to you being a mama but I couldn't look at you any differently... not the way she's making it sound." he spoke honestly as he thought it through.

"but what if you don't marry me?" I asked... though I already knew the answer I wanted to hear it straight from him.

"i'm going to marry you Devin. but even if I didn't marry you I still couldn't look at her after she had a baby any different then I did before she had one..." he admitted.

"are you sure?" I asked.

"i'm positive. what do you say we go out to dinner tonight, just the two of us?" he asked with a grin

"only if we go somewhere we can dance" I grinned

"whatever you want little one" he laughed as he lunged at me before wrestling with me and trying to throw me in the pool

"presley don't you dare!" I screeched at him as he stood up with me in his arms as he walked closer to the pool

with a big grin on his face he threw me and laughed as I went under and came back up for air pushing the hair out of my eyes before coming back over to the side and holding out my hand to him... only for me to pull him in.

"your a sneaky woman Devin Gray" he laughed pointing at me as I got out of the pool and got my towel before looking for an extra one for E.

"you adore me Presley!" I laughed handing him the towel before picking up my bag and heading inside to decide what I was going to wear tonight and to work on drying my hair.

I also decided to write his response to my questions in the book I had brought with me before I went about doing anything else

by Tuesday we were home in Memphis once more, though we had returned home with a plan to fire both Dr Nick and Tom Parker... until we could find a respectable replacement for Tom Parker I would be holding the reigns with Joe and Vernons help and we would be searching for a new doctor who wasn't in Dr Nick's little white book of friends... which meant we would likely being going to smaller towns in Tennessee to found a country doctor who status wouldn't matter to.
