When we go downstairs, Emilie is in the kitchen, making pancakes. She smiles at us, and asks, "how did you two sleep?"
"Pretty good." I respond, and add on, "Adrien got a small fever around 10:30, so we went to bed pretty early."
"Yeah. I came upstairs to tell you both goodnight at 11:00, but you were both passed out." She laughs, and sets the last pancake on a plate.
"Here, breakfast is ready." I smile at her, and we all get food. We eat, making small talk, but eventually she says, "Alright Adrien. Time for your photoshoot. Is Marinette coming with you?" He nods, quickly shoving his last bite into his mouth, and we stand up.
When we get there, paparazzi and fans are surrounding the entrance and the small walkway cleared for us to go in with the portable metal gates.
"Crap." Adrien says, and he looks at me. "I'm sorry. I didn't know the shoot location got leaked. Here," he takes off his zip up jacket.
I ask, "won't you get cold?"
He shakes his head, and says, "it's only for a few seconds." I put on the jacket, and it smells like him. I do up the zipper and flip the hood up, and Adrien says, "keep your face down. I'll get out first, and my bodyguard can help block us."
I nod, anxiety filling me. His bodyguard gets out, and opens up his door. Adrien gets out, and I do too. I keep my head down like he told me to, and he puts his arm over my shoulder.
People go quiet when they see me, but suddenly everyone is yelling. Questions and rude words are thrown at me, and I try to press myself closer to Adrien. He moves his arm so it's no longer pressing me into him, and his fingers intertwine with mine.
We get into the building, and I feel embarrassed. I think his black jacket hid me well, but I didn't get dressed into jeans or anything. I'm wearing a pair of pink sweats that I made, and a white shirt that fits to my form.
The shoes that he let me borrow are completely white, but have a few black and grey accents.
We get into the room that the shoot is happening in, and I take the hood off. "Okay, I have to go change. Wait here?" He asks, and I nod. He smiles at me, and gently kisses my forehead before walking away.
As the shoot goes on, I watch him. He is effortlessly perfect. He keeps on looking over at me and smiling, and the photographer keeps on telling him to stop and focus.
About an hour in they stop to take a break, and I walk over to him. "I love watching you do your job." I say, and he smiles, wrapping his arms around my shoulders and I wrap my arms around his waist.
Someone starts music, and I ask, "is it usually like this?" He nods, and moves his hands so they are around my waist instead. I put my arms around his neck, and we begin to sway. "Yeah. We take a break after each hour, and usually each shoot is about three to four hours."
I smile up at him, and he smiles back down. Suddenly, there is a flash, and I freeze. I look over at the photographer, and he says, "sorry. Couldn't help myself." I blush and hide my face in Adrien's chest. Adrien laughs against me, and places his hand on the back of my head.
The camera goes off again, and I wish that I could hide. I turn us so Adrien's back is towards the camera, and I am completely hidden by him.
Adrien suddenly picks me up and twirls me, and I squeal. The lights flash again, and I sigh. Adrien turns us, and gently leans down, kissing me. I am surprised by the kiss, considering all of the people around us, but don't reject it. I also don't allow it to be more then half a second.
"Not here Adrien." I whisper, and he sighs, resting his forehead against mine. He is hunched over, with his arms around my waist. Over the past few months he has gotten taller, but I've stayed the same so our height difference is even bigger now.
